This game is the optimum of options and plain old fun of kickin ass ;) 5/5!! Been a while since I played a game that could make a 'puzzle' based game this fun.

Great game but not very deep. Take the role-playing aspects and customization further. I also find the grid difficult to look at because the buildings overlap the squares; that is, everything runs together. The colors need more contrast.

This is a very intersting game that smoothly combines different genres.
It works quite well and is a lot of fun, the two only problems I have is that it is hard to keep track of the heroes HP while switching and that the heroes are somewhat unbalanced, the sorceress survives mostly without help, the fighter dies always first and the knight needs always help.
Or maybe I'm just a bad player, who knows. :o)

I have never seen a game where the caster outlasts the rogue consistently but this Sorceress is running circles around the Horseman.

wtf people are complaining about how its not obvious if u get a hint ..... like dude... either theres a row of 3 to be made or it looks totally different and its a skill of some sort ._. comon are u all bonny st claires? shiiit... anyway 4/5 its kindof cool but it's just not my kind of game with the 3-in-a-row aspect

Maybe an upgrade system would remedy the boredom that sets in after a couple of fights. Let's say you collect points, which you can spend on your heroes, or on the strength / duration of their special skills, or on the strength of the different tiles (for example: how much HP you gain from a match, how much money you get from 3 yellow buildings, ...) this way, people can choose their own path a little more. other ideas: include more possibilites to shuffle the board, like a bomb or adding an explosive effect to a 5-match.

Great game. One complaint tho, when you give a hint as to which tile to move, you should make sure that the hint is set to the tile that will be involved in the match, not the one that will just be moved aside. It's annoying having to stop and take stock of the surrounding blocks to figure out if the block with the hint marker is the one that needs to match or if just needs to move.

darthlex, you can replace current guards with new guards. Sometimes that sucks and you end up replacing a higher level guard, but that's rarely.

The knight got several times a negative amount of leadership and health when lvld up! is that only a typo or does he really get weaker when lvling? That would explain why he dies first although best protected by guards.

As I write, I am unable to keep puzzling because I filled my walls and the only way to keep on puzzling is to clear one of the 6-7 guards I got on the board at the moment =( I suppose it's a luxury problem, but I'd still like to be able to simply 'clear' guard tiles.

Thats the best switcher game I played so far. The only problem is that I´m too busy switching to see whats going on at the battle field. Maybe you could devide the game into switching and battle phase so we could enjoy both.

REALLY need to be able to shift those archers onto other tiles.. it sucks when sometimes u have a hero and a bunch of archers behind him, but another one dies with none behind him and u lose cos of that..

Heroes revive when you get enough matches of their color. It tells you how many you need on their portrait, where their HP usually goes. Can be done with match 3s, 4s, 5s, only the total number of matches matters.

Every hero has obvious strengths and weaknesses. Take the warrior (paladin later) for example. Tons of health and the ability to evade damage means he can practically hold the line on his own, especially if you give him the mace later, lightning just tears baddies up. Green is a strong leader, like a Captain, if you give him a sword and keep his cloak his guard units are ridiculously effective. And finally the mage, definitely support. Keep the bag on her for the extra heals and switch to mace later to give free abilities to the other heroes.

@charzard279 Actually it's not just a 4 or 5. Your hero is still healed with 3s too. You just have to keep healing them and after you get so many points back to them they revive.

"To swap 2 buildings click the first building and then click an adjusted building..." Needs a comma after 'to swap 2 buildings' and 'adjusted' should be 'adjacent'.

sutpidly hard. It's all pure luck, because there are too many different piece types to EVER get 4 or 5 matches, so you NEVER get guards or special abilities (I only got 1 guard in the first 3 levels), which means your heroes die and there is nothing you can do about it.
