Still have no idea how to beat the 2nd form of the tank on epic. If I strait up fight it trying to keep both alive I die from Ion storm + tank guns or Nuke + Tank guns. If I try the Matt only defend method I die from shoop da woop x2 or poison.

I found this by complete accident. I was fighting the golem and it froze Natz (whom I assume is the caster) and whilst trying to figure out if there was a counter for the status affect....I clicked her to see if there was something selectable....her breasts jiggled. repeated tests affirm this. that was an easter egg I did not expect

ppl with problems with zombie hydra, use revive spell on alive character = autolife status, if char with autolife dies, it will resurrect immediately

I'm on epic mode, and the zombie dragon twins both used their instant death move; neither missed. Happened to me twice... GOD DAMN IT FRECKIN OHKOs!!!

Epic Batte Fantasy 2 was most Impressive to enjoy. I have to say, the sequel is more developed then the first game I can handle most difficulties except “epic mode”, too hard even for me say. The enemies were tough, but with enough effort, there’s no way for any player to loss or admit defeat. The third "Epic Battle Fantasy" might be more challenging then the previous ones.

You know it truly is an impossible badge when the final boss can oneshot you within two turns despite being at full health.

Fu*king Lantz.... first try on epic I get to the final boss just to get Ion blasted dead. Surviovor didnt even work and I had all of my buff. Ugh it sucks to be addicted to this game but I love it too much ;-;

And then in the second game in this series you have after the various "check-points" you have the save points, and then you have the "mini-games" where you have the cat try to "slay" the undead cats from his village in order to get extra "monies" for your party to spend on items needed to continue your quest, and anyways those mini-games have the worst keypad layout ever! Who's ever heard of using arrow buttons for attacks?! Seriously use a letter button like "Z" or "X" or the "Spacebar" for attacks NOT the arrow pad! It’s extremely inefficient, especially on a computer keyboard, a video game controller "C Pad" one thing but a computer keyboard is a completely different beast all together and the arrow pad on the computer keyboard is meant for navigation only not for "mashing", they're too close together for that!

And with only one "pit stop" in the entire game and all the good stuff you need costing either over 300 a piece, 1000 a piece or even 2200 a piece, and at that point in the game you only have 7000 GC you really can't stock up on much. So by the time you get to that point in the game you'd have used up all of your ethers and potions and be pretty much out of MPs and down to your final HPs. In other words you really can't win that game in "epic mode" and all of this is happens in "normal mode".

The first game in this series of games to me seems pointless as it really doesn't have any sort of story line for it and it doesn't even have any save points in it so if you get defeated you have to start all over again. Also another thing I see wrong with the first game is that its nothing but an endless battle sequence with no true break in between. And what I'm assuming is the "final boss" is nearly impossible to defeat because all he does is take almost 3/4 of your HP in one turn and then finishes you off in the next. And revival of your fallen character is futile as he'll only kill them again and the cycle continues until you run out of the reviving water stuff.

Anyone else notice that the music for the forest-like area (the one after the desert) sounds kinda like the theme music for Tsuna in Katekyo Hitman Reborn, "Tsuna Awakens"?

@LongGun-Great strategy for beating epic mode!! I followed your instructions exactly like you said, but one suggestion. After doing all that you said, you should try to Bunny! (Natz) and Bunny!!! (Natz) for maximum healing power. To get these two skills you have to use slime bunny for a wave (found in the summon section for Natz). Just a suggestion. great game! a tip for beating lance is to keep hitting the war machine. And make sure u have a couple of water of lifes and magic ethers
