Impossible badge is too easy, or I had good RNG? I took me two tries to beat final boss. Auto revive get me past one of double nuke, second try i was stun nuke them into oblivion). (ok, 4 tries to win I also died to dragon because it could resurrect heads and then once before bone dragon, trying to stack buffs before fight.)

Completed this again. In 2020.. I remember when this game first released and was meaning to play the 4th.. and now there's a 5th! Good good my heart. <3

Finally I did impossible badge, but I'm sure, there is no any chance, cause I had only one water of life in final battle, I lost 7 water of life with hydra, I won with tank for the fourth time.

Do not follow a guide blindly. One's way of obtaining the badge doesn't guarantee the others can obtain the badge the same way as well. RNG can really destroy a run here.

Phew just earned the impossible badge. For anyone who wants the badge I would suggest the following:
All bosses pre Hydra are eazy and don't really need any tactics, just nuke them.
For Hydra get the blade that applies seal when you unleash and you would not have to deal with the insta-kill.
For Lance/Valkyrie you would need most of the random spawns from Matt (airstrike, secret weapon, that cat, etc.,), counter for both of them and for Natalie Bunny!, Bunny!!! and the upgraded star damage.
I also suggest get def at least 4-5 times for both of them.
As for strats you should use the sword that draws hp and spam air strike for matt and thunderbolt from nat.
First move for Lance is always Ion Canon. Brace for that! or simply stun lance with a bomb, but i think is more easy to just def the first move after you finish first phase.
Try and kill the whatever the tank spawns until it drops around 40-50%.
for the nukes i spammed ion canon (lol).

Phuh. Finally. At the start of the last month i decided i want to get all the EBF badges before flash shuts down. Today i got all from this one, and tomorrow i will start on EBF3.
Well i have an uncompleted save on it already. So not as much of start as start to seriously aim for the badges.

Oh yeaah boi,picked my 4th impossible badge on the game!|Hints:as everyone say,pick secret weapon,air suport,cat master and cat tamer and also cast a lot of thunderbolts to pick natz thunderstorm stun ability,before the desert worm battle,equip the blizzard sword to make the things easier.in the 3rd stage,try to get:counterattack and Survivor for Matt,Elusive and Mighty Mage for Natalie(Mighty mage also boosts evade,so it helps a lot) and try to get defender,which doubles the effect of defend when you are close to the final boss,equip the blood sword.when you are on the battle,try to always let one boi with revive status:an specific valkyrie attack can kill both easily.when you are on the second stage of the boss,try to stun lance,and use a lot of air strikes to damage the tank,the whole battle is just defend,revive,and Matt's limit breaker on the tank.hope that helped someone,and GG guys

Extra tip for those going after the impossible badge: If you use Slime Bunny enough as Natalie, you should get a Bunny!! upgrade option where Slime Bunny heals more, then another one where it's a random summon. Helped me get the impossible badge, would recommend getting those upgrades.

ik the game's tagged as RPG. i know that it has a typical RPG battle scheme. that doesn't make it an RPG. if someone gives you a dog, but says he's a cat, and it even says "cat" on his tags, does that really make him a cat? perhaps the tag is there to just draw the right crowd. and surely the game exists partially because it was a test bed for EBF3 too, but that still doesn't make it the real thing.

@contrapoint: One of the tags for this game is RPG. Check the tags just below the game. However, I do agree, it is much more leaned toward being a pure battle sim, as there is no overworld but rather a series of battles which you have control over.

Plays normal difficulty - beats Normal difficulty - feels happy :) - rates game good - plays Epic difficulty - loses several times - gets increasingly pissed :( - rates game down - finally gets enough luck to beat Epic mode - feels happy again :) - rates game back up XD

So the only real way to beat the final boss consistently is to play extremely defensively. the #1 rule of the fight is to ALWAYS KEEP AUTOLIFE ACTIVE on atleast one character. The first phase isn't too bad, but the second one can easily obliterate you if you let down your guard. In terms of strategy, you just want to adapt to the situation and always be a few steps ahead of him. When you see the pilot, syphon immediately. When you see the gun charge and the nuke's countdown reach 0, defend. Do this while keeping regen, autolife and MDEF buffs up, and you should win easily.
Also, the frezzer turret is the most dangerous turret there is, since it hits hard as hell and inflicts poison that can deal 2000 damage per turn AND he can stack it. Destroy those ASAP and try not to kill to turrets at the same time to prevent the possibility of double nuke or double freezer turrets.
