ok, found it. one has to click on "none". It's true battles are slow. Would be nice to have a button to speed up the critter's movements.

Either I've lost all the items meant to be equipped due to a bug, or I'm missing out on something. Gained a ring in a mission, bought a sword, they're not in the equipment or items list. I removed the rusty sword, it's nowhere to be found either.

OK, another feedback: If an enemy dies because of poison, nobody get XP for this kill. This really limits the usability of poision.

Yes, regarding speed likwidgames should really look at Wesnoth. I can't wait for faster version, because this game is great.

Looked like it could be a good game, but the fact that it takes a good 5 seconds to do an attack, and even longer on a black screen saying "defeat all enemies" makes it too slow to play.

@zarchus: Come back to the mage guild when the mage is level 5, not Kronus. I apologize if this was not clear in the game.

Ok, figured it out myself. This is no bug at all. I'm pretty sure that the jungle wasn't there before I played I random map and reacceptet the mission, but I'm not totally sure and haven't taken a screenshot :(

I dont know what you mean when you guys say "too slow". It works perfectly fine for me. Nice job :D. The only thing I'm sort of confused about is the mage guild in Athelas. It says to come back when you're level 5. I tried coming back when i was level 5, but it said the same thing. I leveled up a couple more times and tried again. The same thing happened. Am i not doing something right, or is there a bug in the game?

If this is the sped up version I shudder to think about the non-sped up version. To speed things up have the vs. box come up during the fade in and the xp pop during the fade out. Or cut the fade to/from battle to 1/3 length or so. Remove the delay that happens after the attack and before the fade in at the end of a turn. It's a period of nothing happening.

@Frostbringer: It says in the mission description that the mission takes place in a different area. After accepting the mission a new area should open on the world map that you can click on and start the mission.

You see, i am a person with a lot of patience and i can wait for things to happen but as most people have said before me, this is extremely slow. i didnt mind that it was taking forever to complete one battle with little exp as a reward, but when i used a healing herb i got mad because it takes 10 seconds to write "+10 HP" and leaves me without any interest. overall good gameplay but cant get to half of it without patience! This game is like a big endurance badge.. 4/5

OK, I'm stucked in Athelas. Everytime I try to start the mission "Venom Snakes!" with "Accept mission" the music loop start at it's very beginning and I'm on the overview map. Not good ...

I apologize if you find the game slow. I tried to keep the gameplay at a similar pace as Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre. I have sped it up as much as possible without ruining the flow and experience on the game. If you guys have any suggestions for improvement, please don't hesitate to let me know :)

While it seems like a good game, the fun is efficiently eviscerated by making everything mind-numbingly slow and tedious. Battles are clunky and take forever. My advice would be to tone down the pauses between everything and make it so that your turn ends when you attack to keep the flow of battle moving. I personally find this unplayable it is so slow - there is no way I'm grinding to level 3 fighting in that forest.

Turn based games games are slow, but even relativ to other in it's genre this game is very slow. An option for speeding things up would be fine. And as far as I played it is very easy.
