tip: first buy a plane with 2 slots, then Sonic Gun, then 3 slots plane, then dark matter gun, then meteorite gun and upgrade it, get the last plane and use bombs on the final boss - easy.

I solved the Hard Badge with the Triplane, Amp Damage Mod, centered Meteor Gatling and two Homing Missiles because i had no fun with the Plasma Bomb. The Homing Missiles does the Job alone at the Endboss in Level 20.

If only I stood a better chance against the first boss instead of getting wiped out by his One-Hit Tactical Missile Of Doom

This one is better than the mistake of a game that came before, with gold bullions and begging you to spend your real life money on them.

In all fairness, it's not bad for 2012, but it has a few problems. You might as well ignore all the statistics and numbers in the Hangar besides prices, since many of them are just lies. Also, god forbid you ever pick up 10 or more coins at once with the sounds on, even at low volume. Just do yourself a favor and mute the sound effects. My ears are still ringing.

Why are the store items not sorted by price? Makes it very hard to figure out which ships are the best ones I can buy.

Oh man, I just LOVE how this game consists of drawn artwork and the music makes me feel bad-ass before doing anything. I usually play games with at least the music muted, but I could not bring myself to doing that with this game.
I read about the flaws in the old comments, but so far, I am just enjoying the ride. This game feels as if a lot of love went into it. That is something I always appreciate.

Grinding with a weak forward-shooting ship requires timing, so I can't run around picking up coins. No coins makes grinding pointless - bye.

It's a decent game I guess. 3 stars. The best thing about this game is definitely the menu music. I want to hear more of that band!

That moment when you use your bomb for 1 enemy who's about to leave the screen then get flooded with the next wave of enemies and heaps leave the screen

too many ships, who is going to buy all those? Too many guns, who is going to buy them all and then evolve them? there're so many stuff here...

Its so nice when u find a BoTD already accomplished 6years ago in 12 dec 2012, but you want to repeat it today too to play all the game till to end again! That mean its still a good and addictive game to play even after many years are passed!

Also, I definitely agree with the comments speaking about how certain hard levels are near impossible (I.E the later / last ones). After owning the best plane, Triplane, fully upgrading Plasma Bomb and buying 2 Damage Boosters. I still can't seem to dish out enough damage to even survive stage 18 hard mode let alone complete it for the 3 stars. So essentially even with the "Best" stuff, you're not able to compete with the AI. Sorry but the values and things really need to be balanced out please.

Sooo, the Damage / DPS for the most expensive weapon, Meteor Gatling. Is a complete and utter lie. It's weaker than using three Plasma Bombs which according to the information provided, has a DPS of 257 @ LVL 4 where as the Meteor Gun supposedly has a DPS of 600 @ LVL 4. Please fix the values.

whaaat i expecte way worse from the comments, last levels were actually a piece of cake with plasma bomb not even lvl 15, also last ship is good a investment fr only 63k. so tanky with and u can go for 2dmg upgrade perks

The game has rapidly increasing enemies' stats, as well as their money drop and stats of weapons and ships you can buy with this money. This means you and enemies are in arms race if you don't specifically grind earlier stages. It is ok, until at latest stages you realize you are getting tons of money but already got the best stuff in the shop - and enemies are inadequately strong for that best stuff. Perhaps adding some kind of elite shop that opens once you beat final boss (with any star rating) would help. After my hundred attempts to merely survive stage 20 (3 starts are impossible there without finding at least 3-4 extra bombs and firepower bonuses) I have million and half, I would gladly spend it onto super aircraft, or super damage module (- magnet, - money drop, +++firepower), or perks like "start with 2 bombs", or even one-use bonuses "for 30K money you have +50% attack this attemp"

use maxed plasma bombs on final level, make sure you have 3 bombs at the boss fight, use 1 bomb, wait till next stage of boss comes, use next bomb, if you dont win there, use anotheer
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The last few levels are EXTREME; I have plasma bombs that do 4,375 damage, WAY more than the triplane's health itself, either the INSANE health of the last ships have to be lowered, or we need better planes...
I bet you can do it' after all, you just made the most extreme version of Notebook Wars! Peace ;3

when I use the homing missiles and get rapid fire, this phrase comes to mind
"I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going"

I'm playing this right after playing notebook wars ultimate, and now I'm just sad I wasted a whole hour on that game thinking "Oh! It's gonna get fun eventually." What happened to this series.

when you upgrade an expensive weapon, sometimes is number (damage, speed, accuracy) gets so big that you can't see it anymore. developer should fix that.
