I'd rather play the other version which is dungeon defender the things i liked are how you could dig your own tunnels and your hero can walk through walls and also how you can set the range of which your units would attack i suggest to go and play it

it would be nice to have a button to kill your own units so that you can get their higher level version out when you want them.

It seems like you've posted a demo, not a game -- your demo gets a 1. Next time, post a full game for a full rating. Better luck next time! See http://www.kongregate.com/forums/1/topics/76043 for more information about demos.

THe trophy info screen keeps covering the path letting enemy's go past. So much of the path covered by trees on a lot of early levels. Don't have the patience with this to see what the later ones look like.

You know,i like these types of games even if they are somewhat poor.BUT if i remember correctly kongregate is a site for FREE games.1/5 for the locked content
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if the content wernt locked 4-5/5. you have to pay for all the content at the linked site so i give this a 1/5. theres no way anyone should have to pay for such a basic game with so many little bugs in it.

it is so good and so original but improve it a bit...you receive too low upgrade points...and you don't receive some of them after do what they ask for (I finished level 1 easy 1x without tower and didn't receive the trophie...)

Could be a good game, but not there yet. Too much locked content, too in your face about it. Not enough description of upgrades, tech tree items, stat symbols, etc. Tutorial locks you into buying a particular tower, then starts the level, so you can't choose to not buy that tower. Overall, the locked content makes it feel like a demo, and the lack of polish makes me wonder why I'd bother playing the full game.

Pretty good game if it weren't for all the locked content. Remove the locked content and you'll get a 5/5 from me, but 4/5 for now.

Very bad game. The melee towers are weak and it is usually better to use the hero instead. You are better of if all monsters die and respawn with full health instead of having them alive but wounded for the next wave. Enemys seem to get the first shot and the patrol setting is horrible. A melee monster should hold a certain position in its range instead of wandering around aimlessly.

Archers are quite buggy: if you kill an archer when he already shot an arrow, the arrow disappears. That's bad. Apart from this, too many locked things. It seems quite a demo.

lets compare Demonic Guardian(DG) with Dungeon Defender(DD)
graphics: (DG)<(DD)
gameplay: (DG)<(DD)
upgrades: (DG)<(DD)
and so on and so on
the game has a lot of potential but right now its really boring

i think archers are a bit overpowered. wouldn't it be more logical if a Dark Knight who got shot in the back, turns around to face his attacker? Instead of finishing his route. It's good enough that an archer can start attacking from a distance.

I was prepared for a nice clone of Dungeon Defender. I was, however, disappointed. IMHO, the game doesn't bring anything new when compared to DD. The sprites are tiny and hard to see. Also, as an avid fan of freeware RPGs I couldn't help but notice that both sprites and sounds (with the exception of the stuff on the global map I think) appear to be taken from RPGMaker RTPs which is a bit cheap. It's also easy to get "stuck", or at the very least make the game very difficult, by investing the evolution points incorrectly. Finally, I haven't noticed any visible global objective which, for me, detracts from the enjoyment as I lack the feeling of purpose. I try not to factor paid/exclusive content into my rakings but I'd also say that perhaps a bit too many of the maps are locked. Overall a disappointment though I'm still giving it a 3 for functionality and decent development.

it isn't pay to play, you actualy play like 80% of all the game whitout paying nothing, most of the vip features are just bonus content.
About the trees ahahahah i think the char beggining to go under thew was a cool idea

locked features, pay to play nonsense, visit other sites to unlock things...every one of these ruins the gaming experience on Kong. 1/5

tell me where is the grammar erros and i will fix it.I know my english isn't one of the bests and since i develop games alone....

This game is great, has every thing I like. Of course its only failing is spelling but I kind of like it, there is so much of it that it's all just... adorwable. And that's coming from a guy that is rightly accused of being a grammar nazi. 5/5

This somewhat reminds me of Dungeon Explorer. I don't fancy comparing games all the time, so I'll treat it as something different.
Initially, the games starts slightly difficult, your heroes and troops are easily killed. Upgrade path is slightly confusing at 1st, same as with the trophies. I dunno, it just seems clumped up at 1st, and takes a while to get used to. I have only played it twice, so I can't fully say much yet. I also believe there's a need to add in more parking space for your structures.
