Player base is too small for that I guess. I confirm that most best players are not buying cards. I agree that some rares are strong, but as you can get them without paying real money I don't really see the problem. 25 cards a day is defintely doable, especially with all those new achievements bringing extra gold. I could buy 25 packs (125 cards) right now, not even counting reselling cards to get more coins.
And if you want fair mode there is forum where you can suggest draft mode. Although I would rather see existing alpha modes enhanced first.

Card games are based on two dynamic play themes.... speed and power. The game is inherently slow with the resource generation. One change I would make to perhaps pick things up is make Meditation and Intelligence something (can't get in game to look) the resource generating spells be able to be followed up. This opens the possibility that if you're one short you can speed play it. Not having a lot of card draw is what will keep that from getting out of control. As far as deck restrictions ... 8 creatures period min makes sense 8 "common" creatures doesn't as you can ONLY have the 30 cards. you're almost at 30% creature to spell ratio min. Just some initial thoughts for now ( again as I can't get in game atm to do the 800 coin opinion thing) :-P. Overall enjoying for now.

Hey there. Enjoying the game so far, ... when I can play it. I keep getting a Socket Security Error that prevents me from either connecting to the server or logging in, not sure which. Upon reading the comments I gotta agree with Ace Blue on one point. I looked through all the cards and came up with a deck idea. Based on the limited spending resource I ONLY looked for creatures with abilities or spells that allowed you to take another action. Only if the ability was great and didn't allow another action on a creature did I consider it as a finisher. I feel this is the biggest drawback to the game thus far.

Earth Spike seems to be sometimes bugged. Every time my game freezes, the last attack that is used is earth spike. Current fight is in act 3 vs oxidus and golget

I played a lot yesterday, and I come in today and get the error of: "You were unable to communicate with the relay server." Any Help? Thanks

I really like the game but I haven't been able to play since I left my deck tab up overnight and lost my 53 reserve cards somehow. There was an update the next day so that may be the reason but I really don't know. It's been a week or more.

Here is another one (in the same fight) :
Enemy's Endurance(-2) and phenix0013's Blazix(-3) engage in battle.
i thought endurence was a spell, not a creature ???

a little bug when i fought in chapiter 3 in campaign mode, when i fought howlan. here is an extract of the battle log :
Blazix suffers 2 damage from Bite.
Bite decreases Blazix's armor by 1.
Blazix suffers 2 damage from Bite.
Bite decreases Blazix's armor by 1.
Howl increases Howlan's attack by 1.
Howl increases Alphax's attack by 1.
Howl increases Alphax's attack by 1.
Enemy's Rage(-5) and phenix0013's Golden Golem(-0) engage in battle.
the question is : rage seems to be a creature there, but my opponent NEVER played it in the battlefield. Furthermore, it is strange that it dealt 0 dmg as my blazix had no armor ...

I understand that most of these suggestions are not exactly the easiest things to implement, and I don’t think anyone expects them to happen over time. Most of these however are a set of standards of sorts for CCG games, and I really do think this is a great game with quite a bit of potential, just a little rough around the edges :)

3. Choice to make multiple decks instead of having to break apart and rebuild a deck over and over again, this could be unlocked through story progression (so if someone is already past that point they will already have it) Or available in the store as an add on.
4. Some form of card category. Though this isn’t as big of an issue now as the game grows in size and gets larger it is going to become more of a hassle down the road to look through your cards to find the right ones.
5. I don’t know how this next one would be done, but some cards are clearly better to start with on the field than in others. Before I altered my deck no matter what I would start with the Mushroot card (we are talking 10+ matches here) How does the game determine which starting card is on the field? Does it take your lowest rank 3 gem summon? or is it chosen at random? Is there any way to select your starting card? You can have limitations if it would be too overpowered to start with a certain one.

Mcfenix great update! The game plays much smoother, and I got the 800 coins from completing the survey. The survey doesn’t allow many characters though so I couldn’t really give much feedback? Something like 3 lines worth of text? So I will put the suggestions here instead.
First and foremost appeal to Kong about getting your own forum room. Any MMO worth its salt needs one, I understand requirements need to be met, but if you have the room be a combined forum of the two different Totemica titles, you may have enough for whatever that number is.
2. We need a card collection of some kind, It was several hours before I could see the expansion symbol in the corner of cards due to the background being the same color as the expansion symbol.

according to the last update, we should be able to earn coins by sending the feedback of the game if we go far enough in the campaign. I finished chapiter 3 about 1 week ago, but i don't see the link to send the feedback ... is there a bug or is it due to the fact that i finished the 3rd chapiter before the update?

Whistly needs a nerf. Starting out with him and then buffing him up pretty much guarantees a win in a few turns. Nerf it so his ability requires 1 gem.

Kind of warming up to this game. Saw the beg for money on the updates today. Cards are $10-$100, do you seriously expect people to do that? Micropayments are supposed to be micro - 10 cents to $1.
Glad you like the game. Allow me to explain...first of all, rare cards are $10 each, not $100. But that's at a non-discounted price - every day, a random rare card is sold at 50% off. So if you're patient, each rare card is $5 each. And yes, I think $5 is reasonable because unlike traditional card games, we effectively give away all the common cards for free. Our VIP membership basically gives 2 rare cards + commons for $8. I hope that makes the prices seem more reasonable, considering server costs are hundreds of dollars per month out of our own pockets (we are passionate indie developers who love making games, not a big greedy corporation). Thanks, hope you consider supporting us!

Be serious. Your best players *are* buying cards. +25 cards a day is not achieved by grinding for 8 hours, esp. if you are engaged in tournament matches (see Soularmadyl). So perhaps consider a fair ranking system where *all* players (incl. newbies) have a real chance to compete and advance by being matched to those with similar stats (e.g. tournaments won, matches won, cards owned, etc.).
Since I'm the developer, I know very well if people are buying cards or not. :) We are currently losing money to keep this game running for you guys, so please don't be quick to criticize our cash system. If you don't like the tournament, I recommend standard pvp mode - you can find a player with similar rating in chat and set up a match that way. We don't have many players online at one time, so it doesn't make sense to implement automated match-making based on rating at this point. But I appreciate the suggestion - I hope we'll be able to implement automated matching in the future, and I agree that our tournament system (still in alpha) has much room for improvement.
That is not a bug. You may only cast one ability per turn, unless the ability states that you may play another (there are many such chainable effects). Part of the strategy of the game is managing the limited number of casts per turn.

Your so called Tournament PvP is a complete misnomer. It should read MASSACRE - PLAYER WITH THE MOST CASH DOMINATES THE REST OF THE WORLD. Or have you ever seen a white belt fighting a black belt?

The tutorial is immensely hard for a new player. I had no idea my abilities cost 0 to play and as such I did not heal for many turns. A tutorial should not be frustrating.
