To make this all easier on you. Hold the up arrow when swinging on a grapple. Hold up, let go right after and you'll gain speed and altitude. It's a simple concept that the game neglects to mention until about HAlFWAY through.... This little tip makes the game so much more enjoyable.

While the controls themselves aren't bad, I find it annoying that your game requires an immense amount of wall jumping. The reason being is that your wall jumping isn't true wall jumping. You gain very little altitude while jumping on a single wall. Yet wall jump fine when going back and forth between two walls. This is clever and all, but is extremely annoying when you find yourself in a one wall predicament. Adjust the wall jumping and this game could be a lot more smooth and enjoyable.

Awesome game, but I stopped bothering with the candy at level 22. While I can see what needs to be done in most levels, the controls are just a bit too clunky do perform most of the actions with any sort of consistency. A real shame, because when you hit things just right, like completing a bonus level, but damn do you feel slick. Anywho, #82 completed trial 30 with 16 candies.

Trial 17: 'We know you love these jungle gymansiums, #029. Are you having fun? You are doing great, your sisters are cheering for you.'
#029: 'SHUT THE *** UP, WHERE'S THE CANDY IN THIS LEVEL!?!'

"We have placed a candy just above the bell. If you would like some candy, you can grab it. We recommend the candy, it builds strong bones and does a body good." LOL

Oh man, I cannot decide. I actually want to give this game 4/5, because the style is really cool. But the controls are just terrible, which makes the game unnecessarily frustrating... 3/5

Pixels are oldschool and I like them, but much more so is the "Tougher, weird-colored levels" concept. Man, I like it.

No words for how awesome this is... The difficulty ramp is the best I ever found on a game, making it difficult but not frustrating. The candy and the negative levels work really well as a challenge. Also the portal-ish you-are-being-tested is great, specially for this being pixelated. I just beat all the normal levels with candy, but I think I won't be beating the negative ones too soon. Just beat the -1, and that was HARD. Pity it doesn't have API, badges would be really, really nice. Some tips: to wall jump you must not be pressing the key of the direction you want to go. you can just jump and its done, no need to keep holding the arrow to keep sliding the wall. A really useful trick is for swinging: to get really good velocity from it press up when you are at the bottom of your last swing. This is told to you briefly on level 21, but you'll need this for most of the candies.

@shawn14parker They're all clones. But they dont no it yet. The scientists are trying to find the strongest/quickest/best one of the clones. So if you die, you become a diferent clone

great game! deep-ish concept and i think the controls are great! the grapple is handelable once you get used to it and i think it is at a good challenge level

I like the challenge of this game. Learning new controls is crucial to being able to enjoy a wide variety of games. Its important to take time early on to practice. Like in the first 5 or 6 rooms, there are some grapples in there that you can practice all the maneuvers that are demanded in this game before they are required, so that you aren't thrown off in whatever level they tell you to press up which i thought was fairly obvious. And in trial 22(or anywhere else that uses a low jump) I particularly liked that it didn't tell us to do the opposite of trial 21 to get the candy, mostly because it would have completely obliterated any hope for human kind if it was assumed we couldn't figure out that pressing down does the opposite of pressing up. Overall good game that should lead to an interesting series, 5/5.

its probably a problem with my keyboard not the game but i cannot press up + left + space at the same time it wont recognise the up command. it works fine with all the other direction combinations plus space just not up and left. makes level 22 pretty hard.

It's great, and the controls work very well once you figure them out, but there are a few things that aren't explained that can cause some annoyances: First off, when wall jumping, you do NOT need to use the left and right arrow keys unless it's over long distances. She'll automatically be ready for the next one just by touching the next wall, so if it's a small corridor, just keep pressing the S key. Second, when on the grappling hook, up and down adjust the length of the cord. They don't put force upwards or downwards.
I have noticed though that sometimes when she falls from a good distance, there's some non-responsiveness when I push the s key to use the grappling hook. I've died several times in Trial 21 because even though I did press the S key in rage of the grappling spot, it didn't work.

I thought the difficulty level was about right. The levels are fairly easy to pass and the candies provide an additional bonus. (The negative levels are, on the other hand, downright brutal from the third on...) There is a slight feature of the walljump that can be exploited though-- with good timing, you can use it to scale walls. Handy to grab some candies.
