@Saitsukage Depict one(1) is an anagram of Deception if there's Depict2 how the hell can you make an anagram out of it?
Great game 5/5

This game was fascinating. I like how it handles the concept of trust in such a black-and-white manner. It's an interesting deconstruction. The graphics are simple, but they get the job done. Same goes for music and controls. It takes a little getting used to, but you figure it out soon enough. I enjoyed this throughly. 5/5

Ok, ok. I've done a lot of thinking and I've come to a conclusion. Your character is suffering from depression and can't deal with it. The black figure talking to you represents your conscience (a psychological figure of a clone of you that helps you to differ the right from the wrong). He is part of your mind but because of your depression he is now trying to get you killed (suicidal thoughts). You may listen to him (resulting in death) or you could figure out another way to push through with it continuing in life but also your problems (more levels). You could choose the "easier" way and choose to not deal with the monster lurking inside you (first ending) or you can choose to fight it and your free (second ending). This is just my opinion (I know there are lots of others) rate up to keep alive so others can see! :D

Is there going to be a Depict2 coming out soon? Are you working on it? I hope so love the game. Hopefully Depict2 has more deceptive traps more ingenious characters and a sweet storyline. I can help with ideas and level design. 4 Stars out of 5 is my rating on this one.

alttrav u r an idiot if the controls were normal then the whole point of the first few levels will have dissapeared. And what kind of eyes do you have? That backround is perfectly fine and if you dont think it is stop playing flash games. And it might not be neccesary but how is it perplexing? as i said before, stop playing flash games, the graphics are really soft on the eyes compared to other games.

This game did not live up to my expectations. There are so many things that need fixing, for example the controls are very awkward. It would have been much more natural to use WASD or the directional keys. The background and the 16-bit graphics are hard on the eyes. The odd light around the character (the one that grows and shrinks) is perplexing and completely unecessary. I gave it a 2/5.

@boredpoo If he was the opposite of you, then he actually collected the gems and fell to his doom (since you can't fall to your doom). So the gems are there so that falling down there would kill you both, not so that we could kill him.

I think I figured it out. In this game most things are reversed. Spikes help you, gems kill you, space is reset instead of jump. And the dark guy is your dark side, but since this game is reversed, in any other game he would be an ally. He must be our typical gaming instincts, normally he would be a good ally but in this reversed world, he's a trap. It's kind of sad...

the 3 endings:fake one = die by touching a monster,a gem or resetting with spaebar
true ones:1 touch the light on the "last" level
2 touch the light on the really last level.

"there must be another way out." yeah, well i can't find it! this is kinda frustrating, but maybe i'm just thinking about it wrong

Nice game, but it's kinda disappointing how the poetic end is easiest found by accident, that is, for both the beginning and the end of the end.

if you didnt get the second ending here you go: to get unstuck on the first ending, go up to the beam but don't touch it. wait, and it will disappear, then walk forward :) + if this helped you
