I loved the game. The scenary could use more diversity, and it would be nice if there were more speed improvements for the mech, but overall a very good game. 5/5

I actually enjoy this game something fierce... UPGRADABLES!!!
The only thing I can say is that it needs achievements.

Exactly what I expect in a flash game, easy to learn, fast to play, not too hard. Great time waster. Good mute button and easy pause help a lot too. It's not a great game on a all games level, but as a flash game it's a success

really a millenium is not a happening its a period of time and it last happened in 2000, not 2001. dece game though 4/5

The best way to protect yourself is to hide behind walls, and shoot guilded missles that curve around them. Whoring in such fashion got the final mission completed for me. Doesn't work on enemies with jammers though.

Oh yeah, hitting the spacebar with the side of the palm. I'm a lefty too and I can't believe I didn't complain about that...

I just realised that changing detail settings will fix any of the problems I was having before, so that's excellent that they put those options in.

Pretty good gameplay and such... One thing I would change is to make the menu descriptions NOT fade out, or at least keep them visible for longer.

Can we PLEASE have remappable controls? Not everyone is right handed, and trying to hit the spacebar with the side of your palm is, to put it nicely, suboptimal.

Had some major input lag happen to me when too much was happening on-screen. I'd then find my robot to shoot where I wanted him to shoot a minute ago. That's the only problem I had. It's not the worst shooter but not overly impressive either. I actually found myself 'tactically retreating' and taking cover behind obstacles a lot. Barging into the middle of a group will get you punished so this game does have a skill element that I like. Guys who are critical: All mech game series start small. Not until sequels are made should you expect non-linear campaigns, wingmates, etc. This game has potential if they can fix the engine's lag problems so weaker computers can run it.

eh to much of an arcade feeling don't get me wrong some arcade based games are brilliant but this is just one of those games that are not supposed to have that feeling i think mech games i think should stay with the two mechs fighting pokemon type fighting (just my personal opinoin) but it had a good effort and for what your trying to do i give it a 3/5

Mark1832: A millennium is 1000 years. The last millennium to happen was 2001. That's why we called it "the new millennium." Haven't played the game yet, but looks great!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
err why is it called 3000AD if it says at the begining that its the third millenium. (is a millenium 2000 years?). could be wrong, probably am

@darkfire7777 - It's an SRM5, not an LRM5. the difference is Short range over Long range missiles. SRM's should do more damage as well (if it sticks with the battletech rules).

I had to press "forward" to get out of the shop but when I got to the battle map the weapon shop mucked up my laser so I kept having to use the turbo drive to defeat enemies but then I couldn't defeat the buildings so in the end I got fed up >:(

Not a bad game I guess, wider variety of landscapes and more accurate starting weapons would be nice. Also, perhaps include different chassis? 3/5.

Maybe he has made changes but I don't see any of the complaints people have said, I can move in water just fine, in fact I stay in it for cooling, it's not dark at all, it flows nice, seems done and is fun to play.
Ran into no issues at all and played it all the way through 5/5

Personally I didn't have any issues with the game glitching. I get the feeling people who postedthings like this, "OMG suckzor graphics", are just kids who wouldn't know a classic arcade game from an XBOX 360 if it weren't for the dated graphics.
Good relaxing game, loved the feel, but if you want to sit for an hour and play this game, probably not for you.

Ok... so better instructions would definitely be good to provide. In order to get out of the upgrade shop you have to add your weapons. It doesn't automatically equip them. Click on the "add weapon" button both arms and shoulders, select an option and a "begin" button will show up. Instructions are lacking, the game is rather is dark, but the nostalgia is a half-decent reason to keep playing this. It brings back some old memories.

It's a fun game to play, but why is LRM 5 listed with 300 dps, same as LRM 2, but with higher cost and much higher heat/second? Is this a bug?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Am I missing something here? My legs jump off and run without my body when I wade through water. Don't see anything in the instructions about that...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good game! Only real complaints are that 1) weapons are too loud. 2) you don't overheat quickly enough 3) I should be able to squash ppl and 4) bigger maps. I'd like to see some badges for this a) Engineer - bougt my first upgrade b) Hot rodder - maxium engine c) Cool Under fire - Max Cooling d) Thick Skinned - Max Armor. Finally badges for defeating the guard and Sard. overall 5/5

It's kind of hard to see the mech and enemies. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE the game, but everything's gray, brown, and dark green and for me at least it kind of blends together.
