oh yeah that game made complete sense...i just had to look at the walkthrough for almost everything because it didnt have very-or even close to- direct clues. most of the things you do doesnt go together and the game is dark (i know its suposto be) but it makes it hard to see the items that the walkthrough picks up. its also hard to click things because the arrows take up the whole scene.
its creative, thats just about it.

Very well done! Just challenging enough to be fun, but seldom frustrating (I'm happy to say I never once turned to help from hints or walkthroughs)! Don't get me wrong; there were times that I wandered around for a while just scratching my head, but in my opinion, there are enough clues provided to find all the answers with a little effort and deductive reasoning. I eagerly await the sequel!

Good game, but I agree that the sun plate puzzle was unreasonable. First, the clue to even find the plate is nigh impossible to find on its own. Maybe a comment about something not looking right, or something along those lines. Next, the clue does not mention from the top or from the bottom. I must have spent a good five minutes in the wrong place. And finally, the clue mentions nothing of the actually hiding place. The place is not behind what the clue says it is behind.
And, one last point. Scary isn't the right word. Creepy, spooky, but not scary.
Otherwise, well done. 4/5. It was very challenging, and made me think a lot. Just a little more clarity in clues could be helpful. Emphasis on little. Don't want it to be too easy...

Very good p&c game. It's hard to solve the puzzles, though.I managed to collect all plaques except lighting and sun....You have to have third eye to see the note in the wall....Overall, I'm looking forward for sequel :)

I had an absolute blast with this. R/E the secret note, I found it by pure chance; poking at the holes in the mural seemed like "the thing to do" before I ever figured out how to access the secret passageway behind it. That being said, I'm a little random at times; there really weren't any clues that specifically pointed to doing this. Totally awesome game, in any event; I can't wait to see the sequel(s)! 5/5

Thank you, good game!! This is MUCH better than most of the point-and-clicks. The puzzles are (almost all) logical. Using the same items more than once is also good. Two things had me stumped without the walkthrough: the note, which I never would have found, and the correct holes in which to place the keys - it could be interpreted in many different ways. 4/5

Has the potential to be a great point-and-click game, but some hidden hotspots and disorienting navigation issues make it incredibly frustrating to play without at least a few hints from outside sources. 4/5

Fantastic game, I got stuck after a while though. Some of the things are very well hidden. I had to use the walkthru to find the last 2 lanterns and discover what to do with them, the order seemed completely random :/

There's really nothing commendable about it. Without any clues or direction at parts, it turns into just a bunch of random trying and clicking. Boring.

very creative, in the next ones you can make the item disapear when u dont need it anymore like the keys. Im prepared for take off!!

@tasteflavored: I was remarking on how it was worded. Kind of like defusing a bomb with directions that say "1. Cut the red wire. 2. But before cutting it, make sure you have the blue wire connected to the terminal." The note was worded similarly, and I found it funny.

those puzzles are with only a little hint and if you want to find it ot u need more hints which leads to lots of hints and becoming harder every hint XD

That was... Hard... And Long... And hard...
Really good though... No way I couldve gotten through it without a walkthrough =P

@deli: when some one writes a letter the assume it will be read in the future so he could be killed in the mean time... simple really

51 min. Took a while. This was executed perfectly. Everything was sheer greatness; the story, graphics and most importantly the difficulty. It was hard, no doubt 'bout that but it was hard in a good way. You really had to pay attention in every screen so you wouldn't miss anything. You also had to think what to use and where. Excellent job! 4/5.

lordrichards u can't, and i think nobody can solve this puzzle without walkthrough...
srsly this was too tough.. i needed WT

Ok, I just started the game and am laughing my ass off -> "...I am in grave danger or possibly dead and need your help immediately." How am I supposed to help him if he's dead?

Ohhhhhhhh... now I get that puzzle with the keys. I feel so stupid :P But the one with the hidden note is a definite Guide Dang It.

I'm still puzzled as to how we're supposed to find the hidden note in the mural and how we're supposed to find out where to put those keys for that constellation ("N" I think). Otherwise, one of the best brain teasers I've seen. I can't wait for the sequel. 5 stars from me.

Great puzzles, but the control scheme is a bit lacking. Why is it that whenever I put my cursor over an arrow, the arrow doesn't show, but should I put it to the opposite side of the screen, it pops up? For this reason -- and the fact the game is labelled as 'scary' as opposed to something more appropriate (for instance, 'haunting', or better yet, 'atmospheric') -- I give it a 4/5. Still a very good adventure game.

@Dagganoth: The hidden brick and the loadstone are not hard to find if you actually use the clues in the game. The game is really well made, there's no click spamming needed at all, just old fashioned puzzles.
Although... I can't find the Sun constellation, anyone want to help me out, I can't watch the walkthrough.

Next time I see something shiny, I'll just put my finger in it and check the other side, maybe I'll get constelation plaques... :P

very nicely done but some of the "hidden" items are far well to hidden eg the constellation tablet behind the brick and the load-stone 4/5 overall can't wait for the next one
