Finger entering
Somebody else's rectum
Proctologically.
The game choked on "proctologically". Three stars for effort.

You can complain about the ease with which someone can simply fill in the blanks, but at the end of the day, you're just writing to please yourself, so enjoy it. This is a fantastic game!

This game would be a lot better if it knew all the words I try to use. "Outcroppings" and "poppy" are not that esoteric! (Does it know "esoteric"?)

Since the scoring doesn't mean much, is this even a well formed haiku? "draw the sword until (5)
there is no living person (7)
to receive your blade (5)" was my first and best. Then I had "the football player (5)
was thrown into the air to 7)
land in the end zone(5)" which has a certain absurdity to it. Not to mention "fasten seatbelts please(5)
sign said in flying machine(7)
I did and plane flew(5)"

Focusing on the mechanics of poetry just means that you end up writing empty nothings to satisfy a rigid structure.
Even the simplest of structures are often broken by artists, in haiku by using too many/few moras, omitting either the kigo or the kirigi, (Notably, in Senryƫ), or such things.
. . . Which is why I think this kind of game should judge and award points based on peer review; ie: you play against 4 others, and at the end of each time limit/everyone presses 'done', you vote for the best fitting haiku, and are unable to vote for your own.

What Haikus are best (5)
