Yes. It looks nice and the story is great. BUT it plays like a TD game without towers, H&S without items or dungeons, RTS without units or RPG without upgrading. Really, it's just nice, I'm sorry to say.

Cale Miles', in 'Corsai', wants to go to business with me. Gather 5 'Troll Teeth' for 'Cale Miles'. I can get the 'Troll Teeth' by killing trolls. They like to hide under bridges, so you need to find something that can lure them out.

good game + this if you think there should be achievments.(such as kill so many enemies or beat the game or survive for however long) It's not the same without it :p

The "0" Spell doesn't work on "minor heros" like soldiers with two swords, siege weapons or the Lord of War.
I´m fanatic of this game, i fav it.

This is a great game, especially the dialogs. This is something that most flash games overlook, probably because most flash gamers arn't looking for something immersive.

GREAT epic game, just a little buggy. It seems the last spell (the "0" slot) doesn't work at all, I select it but it doesn't show a targeting circle or else, just nothing at all, it doesn't even go on cooldown. :/

awesome game.. it was fun till the very end^^
simple tips:
click space a lot, stop the game and use skills, this way you waste the least time using skills
use traps as much as you can, i usually use them near the gate or in front of an enemy
use stuns on siege weapons and the arrows will destroy 1 siege weapon:)

this coupled with the tool bar at the bottom I think would make the game play more intense and much more interesting.
We'll see what happens as I get father in the game.

All in all this is a pretty cool game, pretty addictive especially when you start getting to week 10ish and the seige weapons. There are a few things I could recommend. Just my opinion, It would be cool if there was a option to send out waves that take like a one-two-three week march to other strong holds to recruit peeps to back up your strong hold. Also, I think there should be a tent where you can change the defence options. like, if we don't need 200 arrows then we could put some archers infront of the gate to constantly shoot the closest enemys to the gate. would take off a little bit of the pressure, and we would still have to focus on the seige weapons when they show up. There should be more options as well for the actuall fighting. like, being able to pause and pick a course to take people out keep the lines to each enemy visible while in play so that if needed you could make changes to the course.

Well, they say at the start of the game this is a trial to view the mechs of a game called Ortus. I like the trial games for exactly that reason, basically the ones that get involved get to voice their opinion on whats cool and not and etc.

This game is just amazing. The battle system is interesting and new, I've never played something similar, though it can be a little difficult at times. But I find I more enjoy the out of battle scenes, the progression of events by talking to the rest of the camps, and the love story between Argus and Elvina. Truly a masterpiece, keep the work up. 5/5.

Really fighting by yourself when you have other people in the keep doing nothing? Yay let superman do everything, you stay there and watch him get all the arrows... Btw why do the AI just like ignoring you for the gate anyways? I mean the only thing that helped me by now are my abilities... But fighting normally is just buggy.

cool game hate the controls. I hope in Ortus you can use the keyboard to move rather than the mouse. Many a time one wants to use an ability but instead your character ends up trying to melee the guy instead of zapping them

So. This game is great. It has a good feel, the controls are good and user friendly, the AI is pretty good (tho as with others, I would like it if the enemies paid at least SOME attention to the guy with the sword trying to kill them.). So why isn't it getting my 5/5? The lag. I understand this game was build with high speed processors in mind, and I like ambition on the part of developers, but what it amounts to is a game I can't really enjoy playing, due to the frequent skips and stalls. But since everything else looks so good, I give you the benefit of the doubt. 4/5, and probably 5/5 if I could have played more.

Simply fantastic work. I want Ortus NOW!!! Excellent music score, game-play, storyline, graphics... well everything. I just want more now. Oh, and do you host a site where I could score some ferrus leaf? I could really use some especially after a night with Elvina.

lol 1gig ram was outdated in 2007 and it isn't really a sign for the performance of your pc...you could say "My hexacore CPU can't handle a flash game. I am confounded"

great though the lord of war was a bit though you have to save your stuff for him and as much of the wall hp as you can because you can avoid the attackers the wall cant overall its a very balanced game and not a easy one to beat worth the time it takes to pass it although i was a bit dissaponted that i did not get to talk to the charachters one last time

the creators have a fund raising thing on kickstarter for those of you who dont know the have somewhere around 40% that they need they need the money so Ortus will come out as early as possible
