If he has the power to freeze time (yes I am aware its just a game mechanic) why doesn't he just do that, walk into the portals, and grab his daughter?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have an easier strategy. 1 x poison by the portal, 4 x sleeper facing portal on last column, 4 x sleeper on your poison facing toys, then fill the floor with curse blocks. =)

What I did for survival(towers all the way to top): Starting from front: Eye(bottom)+Poison blocks, skip a space, Slowblock+Eye(Top), skip a space, grab blocks, poison+eye(bottom), skip a space, eyeblock(bottom)+sword+fireblocks. Attack all bosses as the poison and grab blocks will take care of everything else and replace cheese immediately.

Survival Mode Tip: Worm blocks are your friend =p DO NOT USE SLOW BLOCKS AT THE TOP. I know they can be good since it gives an extra side that they're slowed on, but in survival mode the longer the bosses are on a stack, the higher the chance of them changing a block into cheese. Make 4 pillars starting from the far left, this'll give you an extra collumn to create blocks if the one closest to your dolls is cheeseified (im sure thats not a word lol). Make sure you have an eye block or 2 around to catch the ghost boss, and the wraith boss is great sometimes since he can destroy your cheese'd blocks allowing you to replace them. Towards the end you'll have enough spare souls that you'll be doing the majority of the damage yourself (from the 20% bonus). With the bonus damage and worms block this can get pretty easy towards the end. Heres an example of what it looks like (though I didn't need the spare collumn on the right): http://i52.tinypic.com/n32k5c.jpg Hope this helped someone

why couldn't this dad sprout wings in the last game, where he needed to go across city blocks? i could've saved money if i had known he could fly.

To win this game easily with gold medal including survival mode:
1) prepare [Piercing, Sleeper, Dual, Flame, Booster, Eye] Blocks
2) start with 2 stack up piercing on your very right facing monster entrance (-10 souls)
3) as soon as collect 4 souls, put Sleeper above piercing, continue put up to 3 Sleeper (so you have 2 piercing on bottom, 3 Sleeper above it)
4) mirror image the current combination (which mean on your very left facing toward dolls, put 2 piercing on the bottom and 3 sleeper above it)

Wow, i beated survival with 5 toys and using only flame blocks! It's easy if you know what you are doing. Keep making piles of blocks where its most needed and then when boss are almost going to be on the top of a pile just delete ALL the blocks from that pile and build another on the next square avaiable facing the boss, then keep doing everything necessary to not let anyone pass through your boxes, this way you can get up to 250 souls left and them you can hit 25 with your sword easily. - You are going to hate and have a hard time with the ghost bosses.

Adding to Godseed's strategy, if you're doing survival, it's a bit easier if you move the rightmost stack one column to the left, and make a new one on the rightmost, having the following: (Up to down) Sleeper, sleeper, Eye, sleeper and sleeper. One column to the right of the leftmost stack aswell, you should place 3 Flame blocks to make it even easier. You can also actually change some of those flame/sleeper block for whatever similar block you might want - Myself, I used a few worm blocks instead of some sleepers. As for the game itself: Short and simple, as usual from Nerdook. Great as always! 5/5.

I must be missing something cuz this game is hard as Hell. those elusive little Golden Souls are hard to get....hrm. great game though. 5/5.

One lousy point for cheese....I bet i could get atleast 3 points to a mouse for it. Wheres a market economy when you need one.

@TheElectroGypsy Clearly you can't read, because everything you complained about is in the game. Magic Purple Blobs from stun towers are your imagination, or simply because each tower has a range of damage (2-6 for example). Detector Towers tell you "2-block radius" IMPLICITLY on their description. So yeah. Not to mention you spelled a lot of stuff wrong, (ledgible = legible) so yeah the only thing you don't like is your own lack of reading. Great game Nerdook, as always. 5/5

How to easily get gold: I call it THE DEATH PIT.
You are going to build up two towers -- 3 piercing, 2 booster -- on opposite ends of the field, each facing in, to create a big pit of death. Just start with two piercing on each side of the map, and build up from there.

Great game indeed nerdook.
But as always there is some easy way to beat this game. You need to build two towers at the ends of the block with 2 Piercing(found on 3x1) and 3 Booster(found on 2x2) blocks. Firing 4 arrows a second with (5-8)!=15-36 dmg each. It get repetative from here cause you only have to repeat the same towers and in some cases add 2 Eye(found on 3x3) blocks between them to kill invisible bosses. In survival it gets even easier because in addition you get up to 40 sword dmg from souls(weapon perk 1x2) add critical on that and you can beat any boss even with minimal help from two towers.

Nice game but a little repetitive and easy - survival was no issues at all, and used the same strategy as the 10 levels prior to it - with the amount of souls you collect its simple just to sell any blocks and rebuy to replace cheeses. Only problem is badges weren't working properly, got medium one but not the other 2, and all is gold. 5/5 anyway

Only two things I would like to see are being able to max out/buy everything from the shop by doing a gold medal playthrough in the regular campaign mode and the ability to upgrade the totems/toys on the fly.

Sleeper block owns :) start every level with putting 2 sleeping blocks near your toys in the direcction of the demons spawnpoints and build sleeping blocks closer to the demon spawnpoint in the direcction of your toys.. its gonna be a complete massacre! Got me through every level when i first got it. Even survival with gold on all levels. Love the game! Addicting, fun, and awsome animation. Good job!

Survival was a cake walk. Restarted after I realized that I didn't have Eye Blocks to see invisible foes, retried and stomped the game into submission. I used 2 Eyes, 1 Gas at the entrance and four columns made of those plus Worm, Sticky and Perfume blocks. The demons didn't have a chance.

So, yea for survival, build grabber blocks on the far right and a eye in the middle. On the far left, build piercing blocks. You should have 10 blocks total. Then, when they become cheesed, press SPACE then replace them. Then just keep getting souls. when you got like 300, anything dies in a few swipes.

Solution to 25 wave survival: 1st row fireballs, 3rd row all digestion block except the middle is an eye block, last row is all worms block. Just in case 6th row all worms block with a eye block in the middle. Worked first time just rolled through them.

Will i have to play the game all over again if i completed it now? And if i get all the golden souls? To get the achievements?
