uuuumm, minor bug, i got to te last exit in a level with a sanctuary mage and got stuck because of blocks that i couldn't destroy!

How to get more gold: If u are doing a lvl where u gotta get a certain amount of gold and its not a princesss lvl, when u reach the very bottom(the gold blocks) get a barbarian and use berserker mask so u get Omnistrike. If there is a enemy below and it is in sight, use the Omnistrike to go below the gold blocks.

I think that it's funny how when a hero dies he gets piled on top of the other dead heroes. Just seeing the X's in their eyes makes for a good laugh.

My new favorite game :) Great job, the only part I would like would be if you could visit the places more then once, otherwise, it's a great game.

Love the game! The only thing you could possible do to make it better is add more artifacts/classes/masks/and so on and maybe a Co-op story mode? ...And maybe fix the problem with being stuck. (I know you have done all you could but it would be nice)... But besides that one itty bitty problem this is one of my favorite games on Kong.

Sometimes the game becomes unwinnable on stages. I ended up as a the normal character with the princess under rocks I couldn't break and no way to gain a hero to finish the level by freeing her.

I completed a level and killed the boss... but I got the badge for finishing a level without killing any enemies. Then I finished a level without rescuing any heroes, but I had to rescue the princess to complete the level, and I didn't get the badge for beating a level without rescuing a hero. Does that mean the bosses are not truly your enemies, and the princess is a hero is disguise?

This game would be great, except that the random level design ends up getting you stuck sometimes. most of the time I end up getting trapped somewhere and just have to stop playing.

@Slothrop, if you get trapped, you have to kill yourself. Anyway, my favorite character was the thief equipped with wristblade daggers. Good combination of mobility (double jumps, good jump height, escape, fast speed), survivability (escape), and power (melee attack). It also was the character with the least useful rune, heh.

My two favorite Heroes are the Thief & the Ranger this game was awesome i'd love to see a sequel to it but with tons more masks, skills, & levels keep up the awesome work!!! (:

Definately one of my favorite games on Kongregate. Totally worth playing for 100%, + if you think a second Vertical Drop Heroes would be amazing!

I love this game. Its simple, yet provides hours of fun. I think you could have added more modes to play it in. The story mode is only good for unlocking artifacts and getting the hang of the game. It isn't really challenging. Survival mode is, but it is only entertaining for so long. Great game overall though.

Great game, very addicting. Even after I got 3 game overs, I still came back to it. Eventually, I got all masks and items. :D My only complaints is that I would feel more comfortable if the info about everything is in a fixed position, if you could see how much mana an item costs on the item selection screen (says for some but not all), and once I got all the items, it gave me repeats. But other than that, I loved it, and it was a great waste of my time! 4.5/5

Awesome game. This is exactly what Flash games should be. My preference is for the auto-escape for the Thief. Combined with the wizard's rune for +15 MP means that I'm bouncing around and not scared of spikes anymore. Love the game. My only frustration was when I thought I was stuck with the Platemail. Would be nice if you knew that Q would drop your armor. But that's not enough to get this game down. 5/5, and I don't give that often.

I constantly run into problems where the exit is surrounded by boxes and I don't have the right class to break through. Am I missing something because I am getting trapped all the time and it is super annoying. But great game

Quite the fun game, albeit short. I was completely expecting some sort of upgrade system (although the game is still fun without it). Collecting masks was fun but it didn't really seem to serve any purpose, perhaps in the next game have certain masks have special effects? Also, other than being a goal, could GP have another effect? Possibly being the currency for upgrading things? That way, if you are going for a high score, it's better not to upgrade.
Also, keep the sprites just as they are! The art is phenomenal for a flash game and is really lovely.

So when the valiant heroes die trying to rescue the king's daughters, he just piles their dead bodies outside of his castle? Wow, I can see he's really great-full.

Wristblades (Thief) + Rune Of Endurance (Paladin, but effects everyone) = Overpowered. You can kill pretty much everything without having to use Mana, you're really fast, and you don't have to worry about losing your hero if you screw up. Hit the little + button if that helped you at all.

I've had a lot of instances where I can't progress because I'm stuck as a normal character and have no way of getting past a net of blocks that surround me. Other than that, I like this game a lot.
