I remember a long time ago, I played this with my brother. Thought it was a full-release game! This is real awesome, kind of the same style as Castle Crashers, but more serious (In a good way)

Sorry but seriously - was having fun until Hercules. He's way the heck out of hand, the slightest mis-key and he will take your weapon, keep you away from it, and hose you with unstoppable suplexes for the next however long it takes you to die. Tried trident, hammer, bow, sword, rocks, dagger - frickin' everything. Guess it looks like it MIGHT be ok with trident - IF you can perfectly time every single one of the gods know how many blows it'll take to kill him. After redoing the entire level for the 6th time I just give up. I'm sorry but I'm not willing to bang my head on a wall that much.

studio are many people look down upon you for the simple fact, there arent many 2 player games out there with a good story line, so please, have an open mind to video games.

This game automatically gets a 3/5 for me, because they finally allowed the controls to be redefined! Most Nitrome games I've ever played suffer from the same problem - Terrible control assignment. Thank you for finally making one where I get to choose the controls.

Fun, but could use some improvement. My hands were closer together than I would like, and using attack as the 'pick up weapon' key made me keep grabbing weapons I didn't want during combat. Additionally, there should be a way to log out the second player so you aren't stuck walking them around if you accidentally add them during the game.

There's a bug with the stones (possibly other throwing things too). If you jump and get hit while holding something above your head, it will disappear.

I do believe that this game is on a fast track to achievements! I enjoy it all, the art, the game and the weapons. Especially the chickens and the tigers. By the way, when you see an hammer, pick it up. Most powerful weapon around.

You pick up weapons with attack. You start with a sword. You can drop it or pick up other weapons, so some enemies drop the starting sword.

You can't pick up the same weapon you are using. As you go on, the selection of weapons gets greater and you might start picking up weapons even when you don't want to.

Supposedly there are two buttons, but neither one nor both will pick up a sword the enemy dropped with an arrow pointing down at it. So why should I keep playing?

I am having an outrageously hard time executing special attacks. I literally have to sit there smashing my jump + attack keys for about 20 seconds before I can successfully do so. Needless to say that isn't conducive to fighting. Also, even during the first level when I was picking up coins I was thinking 'hey, coins and stuff? Maybe there will actually be upgrades of some sort!'...but then I remembered it was a nitrome game, so despite the fact that 90% of people would rather have upgrades than points in most situations there are still always, always points. Imo that's why nitrome games never do extremely well; because focusing on a point system stopped being a good idea a long time ago.

Great description! Quickly tells potential players just about everything you need to know about the game before clicking. Everything else you need to know can be inferred from the developer line. eg Nitrome.

Pretty fun little brawler. I like the art style and the dialogue made me laugh. Some constructive criticism: the combat feels basic. While multiple weapons and disarming enemies was cool, more player moves would help break up the monotony. Also, I've never been a fan of jump + attack for the special move on a keyboard. I inevitably end up doing a regular jump attack at some critical moment. As for score, I assume coins add to it? I'd like a score counter in the game window, in traditional arcade style, not just a total at the end. It would help to reveal how score is calculated. Finally, score resets when you go back to the map after clearing a level. Would it be possible to only reset upon death? I don't often have the hours of the free time it takes to clear the game from start to finish in one go, and having my score kneecapped because of it is unfortunate.
