It would be nice if you could manually control when text goes to the next part, like in the intro. I don't like having to read five miles a minute to get what's going on.

great sound, great visuals, nice varied game play too. Ajax the Greater made a good point about dialogue flow, great game overall though! 5/5

with the shot gun, when you have both types, fire the weapon and change to other shot gun, greatly increases shooting speed, great on boss lvls

Might I recommend more consistent dialogue flow? The intro text auto advancing was bad enough, but conversations during the campaign sometimes advance of their own accord and other times hang, waiting for player input. It's frustration trying to follow a story and having someone turn the page on you prematurely.

In the mission i have to repair "at least two turrets": Please fix it that I really have to only repair two of them. The repair ship gets shot down at the third turret and I lose the mission ...

Need to emphasize the ability to quick-shoot with the shotgun (and to a lesser extent the sniper rifle) as being able to progress at all period through certain levels requires it. It's either that or you die, no joke. Leaving it up to the player to discover what is a very odd and not at all all usual way of managing upgraded/unupgraded guns for a firepower increase that's required to survive doesn't make any sense. That being said - seconded, thirded, and twenty-seventhed on the slow, arcing bullets and the extremely low ammo availability on most guns. We don't want to save up, finally spend points, go oh awesome a new gun - and be done 15 seconds later cause we've shot our wad. Speed up the bullets, tone down (or better still just eliminate) the arc. (Yes that would mean messing with the first gold-guard level, not that hard to change a bit.) Drop stuff and catch levels also too hard with the game controls, and felt tacked-on. Didn't belong.

The lightbulb turned on near the end. You have to choose the shotgun/sniper twice to activate the better version (the one you payed for that does more damage). Here I thought I was using the good gun but it seemed just like the old. Once I figured how to switch to the better version it owns. Good shotgun = easy win, good sniper = domination.

Fix mission 30 l0l..... that blue ship just stands right in the middle and dies within 3 seconds and mission failed asap.

I was just doing a mission where I needed to repair atleast 2 turrets.. after the repair blimp had repaired 2 out of the 3 turrets, it died and the mission was failed.. how is it failed if the objective was to get atleast 2 turrets working, and that's exactly what I did..?

You talk "Type setting is identical as is logo surround". If you want really compare logos - check it.

If you know russian language - welcome. In this post i talk about "plagiary". And... different people talk about rip off logo, different people talk about not rip off. I think we love this studio and that logo in different parts - tribute. Respect. Not rip off. It all depends on perspective.
To some this logo as a bone in the throat. Some people no have emotion. Some people like it.
In any case ... see in all only bad - bad quality.

Your "Lionwood" logo looks like a blatant rip off of "Westwood" studios, creators of Command & Conquer, Dune, Dune 2, etc. Type setting is identical as is logo surround. You really should be more original than that, not that I care that much for EA's sake (who bought Westwood)

It's a very pretty game, but the story and the weapons are awful. Also, why am I paying for upgrades that only work when I'm nearly dead??

One thing that made the game (at least certain levels) way more fun for me was the fact that you can swap weapons to shoot faster. Read: shooting with the shotgun, then hitting "2" and shooting with the flame shotgun lets you shoot wicked fast.

This is fun, but I'm use to always being able to get back to the main screen, but find myself trapped on the map screen. I finally figured out how to get there by going into a battle, and then into options ... but it was convoluted and required guess work.

i thought it was a very cool game. i think it would be nice if the weapon payloads that were shot off of the enemy ships actually damaged the ships that were beneath it.

no reward for failure sucks. it means wasted time and mission, with no benefit. so then that causes you to go back and play old missions.

The number of ammo can increase slowly while we don't use it.
It should add more upgrade since all upgrade had been upgraded when i playing the last part of the map.

@junior555, shotgun is actually good when you press it twice, it turns to golden bullets and so it actually deals quite bit of damage on lower levels, also, shotgun is the best at short range as every bullet shots the enemy.

The game had potential because it has relatively good graphics and game engine.
However, gameplay is a letdown, especially with the item collection levels. The issue with item collection isn't a matter of difficulty, it's a matter of stupidity. Collecting items by shooting ropes makes absolutely no sense.

The game reminds me of Stormwind a lot, which is a good thing, as that's a good game, but it invites unflattering comparisons, unfortunately. The upgrades don't bring much to the game, some of the missions feel gimmicky (catch the sheep comes to mind, and that one with the gold mine smack dab in the middle of the way), and it needs more weapon variety. The shotgun is useless, and the basic gun fires slow-going bullets. Ammo on the other two guns is too limited. With a little fine-tuning, this game could be good.

5 for graphics
5 for animation
This game is pretty good, but it could be way better. More polished might be the phrase I'm looking for. Visually it's beautiful, but there are balance issues, and the game is confusing at times.

fun game, some things nicely difficult, some things could ramp up a bit farther. More upgrades would be great, or some special. I ran out of points to spend too quickly. Still good for what it is, 5/5.

Alright, while this game is at time enjoyable, at others it's just...unplayable. There are some really obvious annoyances littered all around that alone are just annoyances, but together just continually pop up until you finally say "Screw this". Up to this point I've just dealt with all of em'. Now, yet again, I find myself at a basically unplayable mission; the windmill's directly next to the side of the stage that the workers have to go to, and the huge blimps with 5 bombs on them that simply use all their bombs to carpet bomb the worker before any of the ship is even onscreen. Then the next worker runs right on out to the exact same place and the same thing happens. Even if there were no other enemies, which isn't the case, it is literally impossible to, within the time between when it spawns offscreen and when it bombs and kills the worker, kill the enemy, and you can't shoot off the bombs. These are the sorts of things I'm talking about.

What the hell? This game doesn't actually save your progress, I played about two hours ago and now I come back and find nothing has been saved. Also, why don't my turrets fire in the 3rd or 4th mission where you defend the gold? There are no friendlies in that mission so it should be okay for them to fire.

while you have updated the balance is still off, I think the only salvation for this would be a balance redesign and then resubmit it.
