It would be better if demon, kitsune and king had some passive skills as well. The way it is now, those heroes won't get stronger after reaching certain level.

the experience received goes down if you repeat a level? for a game that's so reliant on grinding that seems like an odd penalty

Everytime I have to grind to get more xp for the new lvl 1 hero (which I've just got to because the next level is exteremely hard to beat) I could swear each time I replayed the same level over and over the xp I gained was less. I'm not sure if I'm right or not but if I am if the game is going to make people grind why should we get less xp everytime and make it take even longer to do

It's a great game but I'm sad to see theres no concentration on one enemy, that would really help when theres a baddie next to your portal and your Shield-maidens and kitsune fire the other way and then they die....

Pretty marginal TD game. I found myself enjoying it at first, but it didn't hold my attention for as long as I'd hoped. Good concept... just needs a bit of work, I think.

To much grinding. And for what? Better skills? Noooooo, you can only use two! It really would help if there were less skills per charachter (I said, per CHARACHTER, as in, different skills for each one, to make them all more special) equipment for each charachter (more customization, please) stats (like STR for mellee charachters, INT and DEX for more range based on the magic and bow sides respectively, and CON for more health or less damage taken) and the lower number of skills to be more effective. And as impolitelad said, one or two passive abilities per charachter (like say, Fire of the Demon, increases damage and fire resistance) would go a long way. As in, take this from average TD with a somewhat original thing going on, to an awesome TD with an original thing goin on. Just my two cents. And wall of text I suppose.

I want to 5/5 this, but it needs some tweaking. The top comments seem to have it right. Make some adjustments along those lines and you've got yourself a great game.

not enough strategy. You can win the game by clumping your heroes together, maxing the speed, and doing the level over and over without

Little bug: while reading storyline for levels - moving the slider with mouse scrolls the map in background instead of box content, however slider arrows work.

Love the theme. Gameplay is decent, and leveling/skill trees are always a welcome addition to TD games. Framerate suffers from consistent hiccups. Looped animations on levels just get distracting when on 4x, maybe have a higher delay or random intervals. Attack animations aren't the smoothest.

wow guys, glad to see ya got that message i sent saying i wanted to grind on the same 3 levels for hours on end, thanks! oh, and i loved how the new characters you get start at level 1, instead of the average level of your others, cause regrinding just to level the newbies was even more fun than the first time through 1/5

Seems like there isn't much strategy to the game, you have to grind to beat levels not strategize? Although, it's a good concept, if only strategy held more of an impact in the game.

kinda interesting but there isn't much strategy involved. ranges are really short and mazes are hard to cover so all you really do is grind until you can one shot the mobs and then stack all your towers up because of the high number of aura abilities. i see potential though, if you cap tower levels per stage and make the game more strategic.
one thing that would be useful also is to have a DPS meter to rank the towers at the end of a stage or something so people can see how well their skill build is going.
also the whole shieldmaidens having passives and no one else having them thing hurts it a lot. with the micro system in this game id rather just grind out levels and use two simple abilities than level up a bunch and try to use them all

Great game. But it definitely needs some improvements. Sadly, I doubt we'll see them.
Way too much grinding. I spent 5 hours grinding on levels. Which is slightly too much.
Regardless. Amazing game, rated a 5/5. :) Keep up the great work piron.

Not as good as it could be. The idea is good but, im not into repeating every level 100 times to be able to defeat next one. because of that i give it 3/5

The experience should be per hit, not kill, otherwise you end up having to replay old levels just to raise the newest character, and again, and again. It's very annoying to redo level 1 over and over just because your newest character can't get kills otherwise.

Great game 4/5. only complaint should be able to respec and level both when character is dead and in main screen not just when creeps are coming. Gives the player time to pick a strategy for each hero. Right now i just play the first level and adjust the one hero while the others take care of the creeps, its a little annoying

The xp reduction is kind of rediculous when you are trying to level up your low level units and they get 1 xp per 5 kills

The archers [shieldmaidens] have a huge skill tree advantage just with the addition of passives. Once over Lv30 skill points become moot for everyone else. And after that you just want hp tanks to endure your way through all the levels. Unless you expected everyone to watch the weaknesses and continuously swap skills mid-waves?

Why does the walkthrough for level VI show you having a 2nd mage henchmen, when you don't actually get her in Level V? It would definitely make sense to have her, but I don't. Very frustrating.

Would be nice to have an option to display active cooldowns to make swapping skills easier for buffer. And tooltips should display the range to ensure your buff skills have the same range when skilling points. Last but not least - please remove the exp restrictions, they do NOT make a better gaming experience they force you to level new chars with buffers around them and soloing lower levels - thats repetitive and boring. Also there isn't much you can do about dmg dealer outleveling buffer.
