Great game! I use both kings as mana and health batteries, so all other heroes don't care about mana and health. First levels in Hell mode at speed x4 become pure madness!

Not as good as it could be. The idea is good but, im not into repeating every level 100 times to be able to defeat next one. because of that i give it 3/5

One of the great things about this game, is no micromanagement unless you want it. No more plopping down a tower just to salvage a round, no constant leveling and releveling just to beat a level. The starting skills are amazingly good, don't under-rate them. Maxing out a free/cheap attack is unbelievably powerful until you get the mana regen to support more powerful spells. Shield Maidens are a little IMBA at high levels, but they and Kitsune would be nothing without kings. So it's all good. :)

even if u place all ur units at the right place and u learn the wrong skill u will still lose and if u do not know wat skill to up u will lose tis game is too dependen on skill u should balance it

Seems like there isn't much strategy to the game, you have to grind to beat levels not strategize? Although, it's a good concept, if only strategy held more of an impact in the game.

A little problem with the wave tab. After pressing the next wave button, the wave after the first wave that is send out should go back to original speed and not be accelerated too. ie after pressing that button, wave A is send out but wave B should wait till the button is pressed before accelerating at speed above X4.

Pretty marginal TD game. I found myself enjoying it at first, but it didn't hold my attention for as long as I'd hoped. Good concept... just needs a bit of work, I think.

I want to 5/5 this, but it needs some tweaking. The top comments seem to have it right. Make some adjustments along those lines and you've got yourself a great game.

The experience should be per hit, not kill, otherwise you end up having to replay old levels just to raise the newest character, and again, and again. It's very annoying to redo level 1 over and over just because your newest character can't get kills otherwise.

this game is epic.
Takes too long to beat though...good game and I hope for a sequel but in order to beat a new level you have to level up so much then complete it and same for the next which takes hours lol.

*think* the 0 hp stuttering monster bug has something to do with the king skill "kill with power" Seems if a stun happens the same time as death occurs, you get the stuck monster. never see the bug unless that skill is active.

For the modes with random waves, it randomizes what enemies you get at the start, but then those enemies never change between waves. It sucks getting stuck with angels for the whole mode vs a much easier opponent. It would be nice if it randomized it more often throughout the stage, to get a mix of enemies.

There's a really lame bug where a monster gets caught in its death animation, and doesn't count as being dead. It forces you to quit and redo the whole level. Very lame.

Theres a glitch-On a few of the levels now about 90 percent through it one of the monsters will die, but wont go off the screen, the game wont end because of it. The game thinks it's still alive.

I like this game a lot. The game mechanics are definitely different. I like how it's very RPG like for the hero's you put in. It's also a decent challenge too. The skill tree is pretty small, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. Hopefully in the next Born of Fires, it'll be more in depth with the leveling and skill tree. 9/10
