FOR YOU BADGE JUNKIES: level 10 is a sh!t storm of bullets, but the boss is so easy you can do it without picking up any weapon powerups that level, and still beat him without getting hit. So if youre going for the 60 pointer badge, then to be on the safe side: at the very start of the level move your ship to either the upper left or upper right corner and leave them there. it will take a few minutes to get to the boss so go get a beer or something.

As an earner of Frantastic, here's my advice. It's not really that difficult, it's just a matter of paying attention your first few playthroughs, and spending your coins wisely. First ship is ideal. Your first two levels use your money shield when you can, the bosses won't be difficult so there's no need to save up adrenaline for them. First card you want is the money doubling card, this is very necessary unless you want to test your luck with the gambling card. Personally, I never use gamble. You can max everything you need without gamble, but gamble can max you earlier on. You're also going to want +10 reload and damage when you can. For the rest of the bosses after 3, you may need (depending on your maneuvering skills) to use shields or cap special for the bosses, I use the cap special after dodging a bit of the first few bullet spreads. Level 5 is going to be the decider, you're going to want +30 damage if you're no good at maneuvering the narrow path (but if you can once,

I love how one of the bosses is courteous enough to create deliberate, literal corridors through a massive, impenetrable wall of bullets.

Mouse is so much better than wasd in this game. Just some games it's a bit more even. You move much faster with the mouse than you can with the keyboard. There's also no way to switch after you start.

I was terribly disappointed with the final boss. Phenomenal game as a whole, overall. Had a marvelous time playing it. Frantic FTW! :D.

The last boss was actually one of the easiest, imo, and a save function would be pretty nice. The gameplay is fast-paced and really fun, though, I had such a good time I gave it 5/5.

you're safe) then I recommend capping or shielding (pref. reflect). Either works. As you go on, get LVL 3 Rocket Wingmen, increase your reload speed a bit and just focus on dodging, you'll be able to collect plenty sitting at the bottom center regardless. Safest spot to be for the most part. Collect where it's safe, and pay attention. Save up for +50 reload and damage (don't get +40, skip to +50). At level 9, if you can beat this you're safe. Sell the money doubling card, buy weapon enhancer and show them skillz of yours. After that, get LVL 50 Rocket Wingmen (if you can) and take Kevinater's advice on level 10. If you know the sets, you can get your weapon power-ups without risk and even max your adrenaline, and that can make the boss faster but that's all in paying attention your previous playthroughs. My way isn't the best but I, with a cheap laser mouse [insert sigh here] managed to pull it off this way, and can repeat the feat. If I can, you certainly can. So, good luck :P

Gives everything a bullet hell should. This includes slightly difficult regular enemies, brutally difficult boss fights, and a great upgrade system. Only problem is the occasional freezes of the game. I've played many games like it, my computer should certainly be able to take it, yet sometimes it still stops.

After a while, this game starts to feel more like a strategy... What's unique about it, is that the hardest boss is in the middle, the most desirable adrenaline level is in the middle of the bar, and higher weapon upgrades have less desirable spread than the lower ones. Very enjoyable game. Perhaps even more enjoyable than its sequel, but that may be just an effect of having a badge for no-hit run.

Since my last comment was just me crying I decided to be a bit more constructive with this one, my tips for the impossible badge: Be careful to keep an eye on how much longer your sheild/laser lasts once it runs out, you are vunerable to damage again so you dont want to be in the middle of a bullet storm. Have max addrenaline for all bosses (exept stage 5) this cuts a lot of their health away, and you remain unharmed. DONT GET THE ADDRENALINE BOOSTER CARD this is critical; you will have full addrenaline for the boss in stage two and onward, so the card is a waste of money till stage ten. Get the gambler card and money increase card, once you can afford lv 3 wingmen of your choice, sell money increase. Reload speed>More damage>Wingmen. The level 5 boss is a doozy so do all in your power to have the blue sheild rather than max addrenaline pop the sheild when he uses the wall of purple bullets you can barely fit through and ram into as many of them as possible.

The main gate-keeper for the impossible-ranked badge is stage 5's boss. That tunnel pattern is REALLY obnoxious due to the needed precision...

Alright. Just beat level 10. Like I said, I'm not very good at bullet hell games, but this, actually made me a lot better. I'm way better at spotting gaps to get through, and generally getting hit less. I still can't even come close to getting the impossible badge, but I am now better at bullet hell games, thanks Frantic! Honestly I can't imagine how anyone has managed to get through all 10 levels without taking a single hit..that is mindblowing.

Not normally a fan of the bullet swarm, but the joy of the badge of the day is that it regularly takes us out of our comfort zone! I thought this was extremely well executed and great fun to play. Well done!

Suggestion: Cards of certain types that do not lock other cards need to be of the same color or grouped/boxed in one section so players will be able to tell that they can only get one card from all these - especially since selling for so low value than buying.

Every time there's a boss . I do not really look at the boss but instead at my ship and the freaking bullets raining down on me.

It's a good thing that the bullets aren't colorful, so they don't create any beautiful pattern (or worse, optical illusions) that can distract your eyes from the ship....

So... For those new to the game: Only the bullets hurt you, the ships don't; The money you earn RESETS after each level, so no adding up to get something better, just collect more each level; save the powerup-gun thing for the final boss!

Strange...I have no troubles with completing level 10 without hits (the proper way - killing everything for x40 mult at boss) yet bosses from levels 5-9 always get me :/ I'll never earn this badge anyway, hi score of 823M is good enough for me.
