I must agree that the learning curve for the Tower Defense genre can be steep, it is not unavailable to people of all skill levels. Generally, a hint or two gets most people rolling. If you go to handdrawngames.com, you can see sample maps from successful players. If you visit the forums, you can get very good tips from other players. True, most flash games are designed to be picked up and mastered within a few minutes or hours, but games like this really bring flash games from pointless timewasters to full games with real replay value.

This game used to be fun. But then they added the spawns & that really damaged it. Then they added the darks & it was ruined. Then they messed with the rest of it as if to say, "Ha! You're already hooked! Now suffer!" Altogether, they took a great game & destroyed it with too many tweaks. Games are like a piece of art - KNOW WHEN TO STOP ADDING THINGS & FIDDLING! I remember when this game 1st came out. It took me a month to beat on easy. Then it took me 2 days to beat it on med. As of V1.5, I haven’t got to 23 on med. I’m not a great gamer, I suck, but I recall when you’d have a game that’s avail. to ALL skill levels & what sets the stars of the game was what they did in it. I can't even enjoy the 10k fun mode because I can't buy enough to get thru all the waves - which upsets me. Instead of being able to get vindication thru that fun mode, I get scolded by the game! It’s just not fair anymore.

next time if you make a sequel or update this make the bosses do mor dameage than the normal guys and make the boss groups be less hard other than that goog job

This is a great game - i just love this type of game! For those of you who wish you could have time to contemplate your maze whilst paused...might I suggest taking a screenshot with the printscreen button?

I get to around level 60 with about 6k points and that seems to be as far as I can get. The creeps somehow seem to double their HP around 55, and those very effective tsunami towers don't do jack anymore. I assume you have to kite post-60 to even begin to see 12k in the distance.

Other tower defense games I've played have had a health buy feature. Might want to include that in a future version to extend gameplay.

The only complaint that I have is that I wish the pause menu was see through so I could stop to examine my maze, but other than that, it's one of my favorite games ever.

Just fyi you do not need to complete the 100 in order to get the impossible achievement only get 12k points

This version is so much better than the first dtd, I enjoy playing this hours on end. Just wish there was more upgrades.

Just uhh... make a maze with the pellet towers and then throw in some fully upgraded squirts... maybe some frosts with 2-3 upgrades to slow stuff down. and a swarm in the middle fully upgraded.

Aargh ... got to level 50 of the challenge. Making a maze the guys can't get through quickly, and boosting maxed out squirt towers, seems quite effective.

No matter how hard I try with this game, it's just too hard. Seriously, how can anyone get this badge? Maybe I'm just missing a technique or some other secret to playing.

Aaargh ... completed the 50 round medium mode but scored 4900!
This game is very hard - a lot more strategic than most TD games.
Level 5 squirts are extremely useful.

Lets put impossible in2 perspective.... Level 82 - by that time i had 10,410 BUT I only had around 5 lives left, Bosses are worth 200 points each, but are impossible to kill =3. My estimate - Must get to at least mid 90's late 90's to even think about standing a chance... Way too hard to do, preecep, tone done the hp increase rate...

In order you damage dark you must use level 2 pellet towers, or level 3 squirt towers, bash towers dont need upgrading to affect Dark, about the other towers, I yet dont know

easily one of my most favorite games to play on the internet.
good job on this and I hope to keep seeing updates in the future
