Great game, just a minor spelling bug (I call it a bug because it's spelled right until a little something happens.) In the stars screen when you first come in, it gives a description about the room and everything in it is spelled right. But, if you wave your mouse the question mark, the 's' on unlocks in the description disappears. I know it's not huge, but it's kind of a pet peeve of mine when great games have spelling errors so... Great game, and thank you in advance.

failing mission = losing money & XP aint cool. The coin magnet should be stronger. Better more upgrades than these special weapons... They ain't very helpful. Upgrades should make the player feel more awesome. Just some impressions, I could never prog such a game :)

lovely game, only thing i can fault is that some things aren't explained well, ie:the radar seems to do nothing at my current lvl but show direction of objective (hull lvl 2, assuming the sensor meter is radar)
The hull increases your sight range (how the camera position itself in the game giving you more vision in the direction you are facing) and affects how enemies get activated. The radar only tracks objectives.

I found shooting to be quite straining on my poor fingers, so I decided I'd just ram into all the enemies. It was quite effective.
Its a tradeoff, at later stages you cant ram everything. The way it works is based on the current amount of armor you VS enemy. If he has more armor than you, you die. On the other hand if you have more than him you take 30% of his armor in damage to yours and he dies.

"Hey there, graduate! Now that you're done learning in school, we're going to put you through some training to teach you how to use this equipment." Whoa, wait a minute, what are you doing? What the heck was all that school for?!

I'm sorry, I'm going to give this 1 star. The reason is that it's easier to run around killing the other mechs simply by running into them. This defeats the purpose of most of the upgrades.
With that being said, the game is beautiful, good (not irritating) sound, interesting, etc. Very well made game, but needs tons of improvements to give it a point other than simply running into things to kill them. Thank you.

Very nice look and feel, music is stylish and super appropriate, control is smooth and responsive. The powerup system and bonus star system is intuitive and proceeds at a nice pace. If I had only two minor points, I'd say that the levels feel a bit long, and that "Tron-like" should by hyphenated. Other than those (very minor) things, looks and plays wonderfully. Looking forward to your next project!

Only problem I have is when I accidentally right click... my machine gets stuck going in one position, so I can only move in two directions, which isn't optimal play when there are lasers that you can't dodge in those two directions)

I'm getting irritated...the pilots I'm fighting seem to think that the best possible strategy would be to simply ram me >.>

Super game; wish there was a map function...but that's really quite trivial compared to how great the gameplay is. The need for a larger map function is just my RPG instinct kicking in.
The next engine of the game will support huge maps. The black screen some ppl are getting is because of that. Flash player have a limit on the size of bitmaps and it adjusts accordingly. Ty.

No profit for failing missions... Automatic star point off... Also major gripe about the bomb SUCKING, so another star off. However relatively good game, It is just a shame it loses to two major flaws..

I really love this game. Prexen, you are awesome. It seems a lot of shooter/upgrade games don't have any real feeling of upgrading, or power. I give this game 5/5, the only thing I would want to see is more variety of upgrades/weapons. Other then that, top notch! Whoever is rating this game at 3 or less stars is crazy!!
Means a lot to me quentin. The only issue i have with adding more and more is the size(swf). Since everything in the game is animated each weapon or legs takes 100k or more depending on the ammount of frames it have in the final swf. Those can add really fast to a big swf.
Rest assured that if i made a gare2 or something it will have a lot more.

Im forced to play super slow and passive by these stupid defenses. It takes all the fun out of smashing into the enemies

omg... lolol nice game i particularly love the graphics.. its very artistic and beautiful... the trees are very nice.. love the particle effects.. especially for the slow cannon wiht the splash damage upgrade... the neat thing about that slow cannon w/ splash is that it upgrades all the bullets of that type into splash bullets.. the upgraded shield for the fast legs releases those same bullets in all directions when time runs out... and since the slow cannon also upgraded this bullet type, it creats a huge area of golden splash damage... its beautiful.. as well as really powerful

Meh.. The red attacks are more annoying then anything. They dont add difficulty as much as getting tired of the game.

I like almost everything about the game but two things:
1. I'd like the edges of walkable areas to be better defined.
2. I'd like a little more room to navigate, or at least have some open "kill zone" areas.
I tried that pete. The problem with open areas is the 640/532 resolution. Its important to have at least one solid in the screen to give a sense of direction.
But i tend to agree with you. If i made a gare2 or something i will raise the resolution to allow for diferent size of robots and more "landscape" if you will.

Great game. Loved the feel, the look and the difficulty curve of the game. I've 5 starred it, here's to hoping for badges. Keep the good work rolling out.

The ONE problem with this game is the camera angle (and the fact that you're the same color as the backgrounds and enemies... okay, maybe there's two problems): It makes it hard to know where exactly you can can walk bhind (or under?) buildings because of the odd perspective which I think it top-down, except the buildings seem to be more... well, a 3/4 view.

great game but the pacing is so very very slow: watching the bullets moove is like looking at the last few drops of molasses eking their way down to the mouth of the jar...come to think of it the mechs themselves actually do move about as fast as lukewarm molasses.

fastest way to get money, start at level 1 and bump all the robots till you kill them all and go straight to teleport

please pause the game when displaying tutorial/informative messages :/ they keep coming up when i'm getting shot, so I can't take the time to read them :(

it is refreshing to see a developer be so responsive and willing to work on fixes. no game is beyond improvement, and prexen recognizing that earns a 5 in my book!
Thanks allen. I try my best to keep up, but with the front page and all the ammount of responses im getting is starting to become impossible to reply to all.
Means a lot.

its good EXCEPT and this you should really change, is saving money even when you exit a level in progress. this is definitely a game that will see a sequel. good work.
