gets relly tedious after the first few "days". even max upgraded surge protection menas 17+ energy lost per half second for lower surges, pretty much guaranteed to drain your max leveled energy, even the fastest claw speed upgrade still feels really tedious when you have to wait several seconds for any gear you might hit to reel in. the diamite upgrades are wholly useless because dynamite is, and the magnet upgrades are only marginally better. if the claw speed upgrade actually increased the speed (it felt like it didn't), the magnet range at max would be enough that you could click anywhere on the screen to steer instead of only a fifth away from the hook, and if lower gears were more valuable, this game would feel more fun and less of a chore

Pretty cool but gets tedious after a while. I found most of the robot's parts but got bored before I found the last one.

I honestly don't know why people were still complaining about short circuits after the most recent update. I didn't play the old version, but I played the current version (1.1K), and shocks are very easy to deal with, and are completely eliminated as a threat once shock protection is fully upgraded (apart from the very minor annoyance of having to reel back in). Having played the game to absolute completion, I have to say the current version is well balanced with its upgrades. At least, it's a lot more balanced than some digging games I've played (especially the ones where you have to upgrade multiple things in order to dig deeper). Overall, a 5/5. I'm patient enough for this type of game. Others might not be. Your Mileage May Vary.

It is satisfying going way deeper and getting better stuff as well as earning upgrades for achievements. I can't help but feel that it can get tedious after a long while, especially when you're trying to go way deeper and a cog or a shock stops your descent. This game takes quite a lot of patience. 4/5

not a bad game, but you shouldn't need cheat codes just to make playing worthwhile. The effects of the cheat codes should be upgrades you can buy. It would be nice to have an industrial strength robotic arm that could haul more than 1 w/o cheats or 2 w/cheats cogs in one go. Nice improvements and congrats on listening to your players, but even with the changes this game takes entirely too long for what you get out of it. Three possibilities that I feel would make the game faster and reduce boredom. 1) increase value of all cogs. or 2) reduce the price of upgrades. Or finally 3) increase the effect each upgrade has. Too much time is spent earning little, only to make one or 2 somewhat ineffectual upgrades and that translates into quick frustration and boredom and soon leaving the game entirely. Also, an "End Day" button would be nice when you want to go upgrade. 4/5

short circuits...
As of 300 feet all your money goes into shock protection.even if you get shocked for only 5 energy you loose it 10 times !!! => -50 energy !
and since you loose 10 or more each time, -100 energy is a damn lot !
3/5 cause i'll never finish this game since massive shock ruines everything ><
P.S. try adding some underground item such as shock protection for the day of at least for the next short circuit encountered...

The option to upgrade amount of battery charges instead of dynamite would be nice. After spending an immense amount of time patiently digging through gears to get to that f*ckin' eyeball that somehow got blasted to several hundred feet below it's heartbreaking to run out because there was only one battery to grab.

updates getting better, i think the short circut needs a little more nerphing, and also, plz make roxy's part a bt bigger, very hard to see and read chen its the depest 2, finaly, plz extend battery range a bit, i spent more then i got trying to hit just one :(, asides that 5/5 easily

I thought other people were over reacting about the short circuits. Then I hit my first one. -12 at least 5 times before I lost. The zap is fine, but why make it persistent damage? Best digger I've played, but that makes it the worst.

Well made addition to it's genre. When I first encountered the broken cables underground (wasn't using dynamite at the time), I almost got mad because I had no idea what was going on. After I got the shock protection though (get zapped 5 times) and started using dynamite for scouting ahead, the game was in the bag :) 4/5

So one day i get shocked at 13x whatever, so I buy a ton of protection and now it's 16xwhatever? Am I misunderstanding the math? Why is this short circuit thing so punishing? Fix that either by making the protection mean something or dropping the overall damange and it'd be a much, much, much better game.

I think the penalty for hitting short circuits should be a one-time penalty of about 15 energy. Then your energy won't run out in a few seconds after hitting one.
