if you develop roaches then the game is really easy.. when you level do str,spd,str,spd and you will get roaches andthen do only str after that.
all str = beetle all spd = ant

do the upgrades carry over between levels? I went with the speed upgrade twice and the enemy on the 3rd level is much faster than me. I hadn't taken over one neutral spawn point before they had taken 4 over.

If you watch the walkthru, level 8 is doable. I was stuck on that level on newgrounds, because i was allowing the roaches to make 1 turret. the beetles are very weak to turrets so even 1 enemy turret can stop 1000 army, even with 10-15 friendly turrets. the key is to constantly attack the blocking nest, never allowing it to be strong enough to build a turret. so rush the ants, capture the 4 lower nests. then constantly feed your blocking nest, and have it constantly attack the roaches, build basic turrets to allow you to build up quicker, then build splash, and eventually you will overwhelm the roach blocker with your constant attacks. then do the same for the next 2 nests, then rush the end.

It's pretty hard to control to keep clicking to send larve to another colony, a colony that's not in touch should be able to send larve to another colony far away?

I'm in a stalemate in the last level. I went with all but 1 or 2 strength level ups and now I can't get them out of a colony fast enough, I've got over 1000 beetles in one colony trying to kill a colony with less than 30 roaches at any time... there needs to be something I can do to break stalemates like this.

I also got the game freeze at the green screen. Refreshing the page allows you to go on. (The game will re-load, but you will have access to the next level).
...Essentially Nanowar with larvae and pre-determined paths..

I found a glitch with the after level screen freezing. It also sucks that you can't win with an all +20str colony, at least I can't :-/

very cool, but too short and way too easy. finished 1st go without using towers (speed and strength to get roaches 3 :). Went back and played around with towers, they seem underpowered for the cost, you finished the level before you are ready to put 75 into a tower

I did all strength upgrades. Everything was ok until 8, and that was hard. Had to use towers. Many. Now the queen....dying over and over fast.

Nice Idea, bad game. To Easy (dont know, what you do wrong.. no loose on first try) and the controls are realy crap. Imrove this, maybe some more level and more different upgrades and it will become a good game.. 3/5 (@others: dont build towers and just improve strength)

"Impossible to win with only strength upgrades." -Iblis ... Um, bs. I've beat it with only strength upgrades and with only speed upgrades. It is harder with only strength upgrades because you can't send out units fast enough, but it's still possible to win.

Impossible to win with only strength upgrades. Really easy doing it that way till lvl 8, but once you get there, can't win. Get stuck trying to take the middle base each time. 3/5 for not allowing reskill

Good game but I couldn't understand the instructions at all. The person who made really needs to use spell check...and a dictionary...and go to school.

I agree with fabs0. the control in this game is mediocre. Half the time, the bug spawns won't respond at all when I click on them. I should not have to click perfectly in the middle. It's noticeable enough to ruin the fun. If it were fixed, maybe I could enjoy it. 1/5 until then.
