Why did you not allow us to keep generated xp after we loose a fight. Its so frustrating playing for 20 min then to loose and only have 2700 xp as a result.

@ gamemaster007 just simply press either 'q' or the square on the bottom... if you cant see these, click outside the gamewindow, and press ctrl + 0. for oother units you need to upgrade buildings (which first need research, at the menu bottom right at the world map...

Possible Strategy: Use research to get the "Elemental Shot" for your tower. Make sure to farm easier levels to assist with whatever other units you like too. Also, upgrade Barracks to get Paladin. I had to beat lvl 7 to and 8 before I could beat 6. I would upgrade (during battle) as fast as possible to get the Elemental Shot. Cost 1500 mana so it takes a bit. Then, I could defend against most anything. Then, have at least 2K mana, send 2-3 paladins, give some time, then spam hobbits and bombers. Maybe a wizard and some archers for backup. + if you like.

Am I the only one who sends a ton of units, gets the enemy base down to like 2k hp, then watch as all the troops are massacred by some special units when I'm 3 seconds away from winning?

You're right, there's no mute button.
However, there's something better: You can change the volume by degrees. You can have it all the way off, at full blast, or somewhere in between. During a battle, just click on "Options", then you can change the music and the Sound Effects.

Problem is this : If your army get to the enemy's castle, and destroys some, then enemy REINFORECES. It is too strong, so it FORCES player to use 9999 strategy. It is ridiculous.

honestly, this was the best Epic war. The concept had been perfected, and...Honestly, I preferred this format to the army only format.

In every other game, the boss music plays when your enemy is about to go all out. In this game, the boss music plays for you when you go all out. I love that.

Easy way to farm EXP: 1: Go to Level 6 (The Orcs). 2: Choose the Race, that needs EXP. 3: Activate Auto-Fire, wait for the first Wave. When you have 150 Mana, spam Hobbits. Kill as many Enemies of the first Wave with your Arrow Tower. 4: Keep spaming Hobbits. There will be so many and they will attack so fast, that any new spawned Melee-Fighter doesn't get a chance to attack. After a short time, the Enemy Castle will be destroyed. 5: You just earned 6000 EXP in a very short Time. Have fun!

The game is not slow if you immerse yourself. It is made to build up tension between levels and even inside one level sending stronger and stronger units. Just enjoy the bgm and the sfx while you watch a display of blood and justice.

*spends 10 minutes killing enemy with nothing but arrows while upgrading mana* sends MASSIVE wave of death... enemy repels with 100's of units I've Never seen due to lack of upgrades. OK...

I noticed as I used the mana boost I am more likely to see numbers. I wish I could see everything like it was years ago. What the heck did Rudy do with this game?

listen to the pro tip, use elves and almost no ranged units. if you only use your titan unit and the red dragon you should win quite easy because the boss wont attack them;)

My tip: never give up, never stop spamming when enemy has got like 1000 more troops than u, because eventually they stop spamming and you can attack once agen and kill em.

For those of you getting frustrated about slow mana regen know that when you use the mana boost ability it increases your mana regen rate in addition to the increase in mana pool size. So boost your mana 4 or 5 times and you will notice a huge improvement in mana regen

is it logical that at some point in mission seven, when the ennemy castle was almost dead, suddenly a huge horde of invulnerable elves with ice swords and fire bows + 3 cannons and about 20 clerics got out of nowhere and destroyed my castle within 3 seconds after they reached it ?

there is no difference in the levels if you use the same, good strategy. The only difference is that each time you try a harder level is that it takes longer to beat. It's like playing a game where you play for 5 mins then the game resets back to the beginning. The second time you get to play for 10 mins before the game resets. For the 3rd time your so good at the first 5 mins (because you've already done it twice) you hope something will be different but you end up disappointed.
