Maybe after beating the main quest your character gets a big health bonus for becoming immortal, that might help with the problem of keeping your leader at the back and hope you don't forget to put them back at the start after moving up the rest of your men.

In my opinion, the #1 thing that makes this better then Epic War 3 or 4, is that when you give your troops an order to go to a certain place, they go there, and they effing STAY there. I can't tell you how many damn strategies were ruined by strategically placed units (Like ranged units providing suppressing fire so that melee units could hammer a castle) wandering off into the fight because they got a taste of glory and forgot where they were supposed to stand. That's about the only reason I like this more than EW 3 and 4 - not having to babysit is great. However, it is a little vexing that I can't place ranged units any closer than their maximum range from the enemy - the only way to do this is to push the enemy back, place the ranged units, then allow the enemy to advance again. That strategy is mostly useful for besieging walls or bosses, where pushing the enemy back is not feasible.

So from what I can tell, it says there are 27 units. I already have 29. I also have 28/30 items, but I still still don't have the units achievement. Anyone got some advise?

so i have all the achievements (Except the last) and completed every level, but i am missing quite a few units. have they just not been added yet?

I think this game should be online also so you get stuff like during christmas you fight santa and the backround changes , and he should have elves and there should be something for Halloween and a Halloween backround

Now that someone mentioned it, I do notice the larger units (bosses) do look blown up and less sharp than the smaller ones.

need more upgrades and the bosses need to look different then the other units
and when u upgrade a unit they should change their look a little or something

i've been hooked to the epic series ever they started, ^^ epic as always however.
i have to agree that the upgrade system is very limited on the more 'epic' monsters especially your own hero. it would be awesome i've the hero would have some more possible upgrade to spend with the huge rest of exp you have for maybe some epic hero upgrades.
perhaps these could lead to some epic boss battles ^^

need elite unit quality upgrades for hero. How can you win if and enemy gets to your hero and he dies in 3 hits? Hero means he is suppose to e able to kill alot of stuff. Not sit back and munch on a cracker while people die. HERO!!! HERO!!!!!!! Not zero -.-

Overall it's a great game and the actual combat gameplay has been nicely improved, but I feel like the mechanics for unlocking and upgrading units and spells took a step back from EW4. Upgrades max out too fast, per-unit experience for all the upgrades instead of a global pool to spend means less trade-off decisions for the player to make, and you have no control over the order in which you unlock units so every playthrough is the same.

I personally think what made EpicWar1 so epic was the fact of personal* up grades. The actual use of mana to affect the battle field and not just a single monster or a single group of monsters. Direct damage spells. Next game try coming up with a player graph to equip gear to the player (with a slot for each type of equipment) that affects the monsters instead of individually equipping monsters. Focus on the player. But what do i know im a Lv.8 Kong player.

it would be great if we could upgrade our mana during game play and have the arrow tower where the player control like it the earlier epic wars it would give the players something to do besides just calling spells while the units got fight just make it a little more active for the player

I've seen a lot o people asking how to get all the 30 units
I also don't know, so here is a suggestion
Could you use the same sistem as in the achievments, where we click in one and it shows what we need to do to earn it?
This way we could see how to unlock each unit!

I think it would be a good idea to bring the map back cause i'm like where are my soldiers how many eniemies are back therekilling them while i check to see what else i have to destroy and do i need to make defenses?

CONS
- Tutorial appears once at the beginning of the game (not really a "tutorial" since it's just words, no arrows or anything.)
- Can only speed up to 3x and can only access speed by pausing
- Artwork leaves something left to be desired
- Hugely boring
- Introductory story is more thought out than anything else in this game
PROS:
- It is a game.

Très bon jeu : On peut avoir une sauvegarde par personnage ( 3 personnages : Viegraf le rouge, reine Etheriea et le crâne chevalier ). Multitude de niveaux avec de nouvelles difficultés à débloquer, de nouveaux personnages, de nouvelles améliorations, de nouveaux équipements et de nouveaux pouvoir. Pour les améliorations, chaque personnage à ses propres points ce qui est intéréssant ! Voilà, a+ tout le monde :-D !

the extra challenges are good but hero upgrades are not.. the heros from EW 4 are far stronger... and the upgrades from this game are not balanced... u did a better job on all the other Epic War games....

Also, either buff the heroes or remove them entirely... It's not cool when you spend 10-15 mins on a map and you're winning, and you lose by accidentally sending your hero into the fight... I took twice as long as I should have to earn the hard badge

Extra 8 Stage; The Inferno
It’s that annoying spinning efreet thing that goes tornado mode to destroy all your units. Keep sending melee distractions and build walls on him to slow him down while your archers do the damage. He will probably get really close to your hero before dying.
Need; walls, stuff like Goblins, tons of archers
Don’t Need; strong melee units won’t last much.
Units to Take; cheap and fast melee units, Centaurs, Elf Hunters, Mages

azrulfaiz: All the units have good things and bad things -> Golem: High health but slow move. Lord Of Hell: Awesome attack and health but it can only kill 5 - 10 enemies per attack. Iron Castle: Very high health and high attack but very slow move.
