Tons of minor flaws ruin what could be a great game. 1. Micro-movement isn't possible, so minor readjustments are annoying to make. 2. Touching a boss = instant death? Weak. Heavy damage would make more sense. Sucks to have the round end because the boss got close to you. 3. Auto-follow/auto-shoot, obviously. 4. Be able to skip dialog. The game seems to progress really, really slow. 5. Better replaying options. 6. Upgrades other options than just "shoot faster" and "more damage".

Needs control mapping or at least options; having to hold the mouse button is tiresome. Otherwise it's just another shmup. 1/5.

being able to choose a specific lvl as opposed to replaying the whole story lvl would be nice... and same as everyone else... not having to hold mouse button... i mean if i want to stay still i'll stop moving the mouse

says it will shoot automatically, but i have to keep mouse button pressed down. very lame. very dumb. play a game before you program one.

My only complaint with this game is the bosses that always 1-hit kill you. I'm all for them causing a bunch of damage, but I don't like the "dead no matter what" style.
Oh yea, and the fact that holding down the mouse to move and fire is totally unnecessary.
Other than that, awesome game!

Steering is bad. The center of the ship should follow your mouse. But you have the ship only respond when the mouse moves far enough that it's not over the ship anymore. This makes small movements difficult. Make steering work like all other games in this genre, make it auto-follow and auto-shoot, and it will be a much better game.

oh now i get it. so the electric twins used there electric powers to bring back ivan. kind of like frankenstein.Oh wait the electric twins are dead too...

I'm disappointed "gun power" doesn't add directions after level 5 (or was it 6?), despite it being said in the help that it should.

all the weapon upgrades should be hidden, also, u can see from the beginning on that the game has 4 bosses beat xxx to acquire

The one thing I don't like is the fact that your ship doesn't move until you drag the mouse off of the entire ship. So there's no fine-control.

What really makes this game work is that you considered gameplay in the application of upgrades. Giving us right, left, and rear guns allows us to take the evasive maneuvers necessary to avoid getting hit while not forcing us to sacrifice offense.

to beat the two ivans get to the first ivan and attack his front and easily step out of the way of the bullets when he starts chasing you walk around him to the back and shoot his back YOU MUST HAVE THE POWER TO SHOOT BACKWARDS by now 2 waves have entered the second with another ivan stay between them as long as possible and then keep track of the first ivan untill hes dead then clean out the enemys and attack the second like the first

Survival mode need to get hard quicker. We already beat the game so you can assume we have a fair amount of upgrades. Also having a boss run into me from offscreen and kill me sucks.

I'm really in love with this game, I really can't fault it. Superior in terms of it sound design, graphics and game play. The sound alone gives such a feeling of atmosphere and energy, the colour, design and variety of enemies and weapons make it interesting and engaging, the levels themselves are well thought out and balanced. The levelling system really lets you take control and play your own way, the note drop rate compliments the upgrade cost beautifully. Congratulations, I only wish that more flashgames were this well conceived and executed. 5/5, favourited and donated.

great game, but still needs a little work.
as others mentioned, just add in auto firing and auto mouse follow. my click finger will thank you.
also, the game is just way too short! at the point that i get Daisy, the last weapon, there's nothing to really use her for. Survival mode is only fun for a few rounds before it gets boring.
There's also no reason for me to keep playing and upgrading weapons either.
So just add some more levels to the story mode, with some new enemies and I think this game will be excellent!

The following mechanics are a pain, to get near the edge of the screen I have to be careful not to let my mouse go outside it. And of course this doesn't help me dodge quickly.
I just want to listen to the title screen music :>

Good game, nice graphics. Took far too long to get enough notes for a full upgrade, and clicking for extended periods was a bit annoying. All in all though, congratulations.

3/5,would be 4/5 but with the triplets level, its almost impossible as the bosses surrond you, tackle you, then 1 hit kill....

I cant help but notice that 4 out of the top 5 comments are about the same thing. Does anyone else see that this game is amazing and not just complain about the fact that you cant auto shoot?

im loving the concept... but, its really difficult to control the ship and aim at the same time ur losing unnecessary health
