Wow here I am actually enjoying a game, and twice now Amazon/AT&T ads that take me off the page kill my ability to play the game. Ridiculous.

There are a couple of levels where you have to kill an enemy. If you are replaying levels and haven't killed anything yet they will be marked with an X-ed heart to let you know that you can kill them.

I can't for the life of me find out how to get the sewer 2 heart. That mouse in the narrow corridor seems like a pretty definite kill

WASD scheme, but "Z" for attack?! O"K" there spork.
Fun fact, programmers have been moving a pixel around on a screen for 40 years. (KayPro II)
that's as far as some ever get.

seems nice, but the inputs are finnicky. if you move and jump you get a proper jump. if you jump and move, you go very slowly. You can't do small movements either, it has to be a full pace every time, and that has caused my death so many times.

Oh man kupo707 (creator of the Epic Battle Fantasy series) commented on this game with a positive review! That's how you know it's good, because that series (and Matt's other games) are fantastic as well. Ahem, anyway, this game is great and breaking down each level individually for the badges and ingame counters is great. Controls work well, even though I'm surprisingly bad at it at times, and the art and music all work really well.

I absolutely loved this game! Very cool, thought I'd never get the speedrun badge so only worked on heart and spade... Earnt it on the way!!

Cool game! Responsive controls, and the badges were quick and fun to do!
Like some of the other comments have said, I would even be up for doing a hard badge on this game!

a really satisfying game!! i found it frustrating at times (not the game's fault, but my own lack of skill) and incredibly satisfying when i managed to complete the level the way i needed to complete it. the 3rd subway level made me groan a few times when it came to completing the no-killing-enemies part (and, honestly, "groan" is an understatement lmao) but wasn't unfair. a really fun game :-)

Fun, simple, and short. It's easy to learn but entertaining enough to keep playing until the end. The badges are pretty hard to get, though, and require some more skill. Overall, very well-made!

Pretty good overall except for the delay between attacking and jumping, made the last fight annoying after the 30th try because of that delay.

If not for the achievements I'd give the game 2/5. But they give you something more meaningful to do, so 3/5 and +playlist, will try later a bit more.

*Spoiler* There are 3 secrets: sewers lvl 2, subway lvl 3, and if you complete the all levels with all pacifist/time challenge, you get a secret ending =)

Haha, I tried swinging at some enemies and they wouldn't die. So I figured the pipe could only be used on crates, and that enemies can't be killed. Hardest "easy" badge ever until I figured it out. :D
Great game, well worked mechanics and the music fits well. 5* from me.

This game is SO amazing. The small amount of lore (which i won't spoil) you get once you 100% the game is amazing and i'd love to believe there is gonna be another just because of the lore.

I entered some sort of red cavern, obtained a pipe wrench, and started hitting random obstacles with it.
I knew this game was going to be awesome.

This game is beautiful, satisfying to play, and while its shortness is disappointing it means it doesn't try to do anything it can't do.
Absolutely one of my favourite games right now and I've started trying to speedrun it. Really hope you make more games Sharrage!
