I've tried unplugging and re-plugging my keyboard and tried a different keyboard I've also tried it with turning off all the effects and putting it of\n Low quality just in case my computer couldn't handle it for whatever reason, Keypresses aren't working, wish whatever thing decided that this would be a good badge of the day would of thought to check for glitches like this.

Why does the game seem to stop making boss fights happen once you beat the dark guitar maniac? I had to reset my progress 3 times now because of that...

Ska Hymn, Stormfield, Momentum, and Presumed Dead (for obvious reasons) are the most annoying to perfect for me.
Stormfield the most so since just... just look at its chart.
Ska Hymn and Momentum are cuz I'm kinda bad at repetitive notes, Presumed Dead for the double note thing ending.

Okay you cannot deny this game is a little bit laggy and it's not even the players sometimes. The fact you're saying basically saying get gud is such a terrible response to this, get out of here if you're gonna act like it's not true in some sort of way..

@Gigamite: nope, i'm good at other rhythm games. but for this no matter how well i hit the arrows, randomly some are just not getting detected. also, the timing is off for a LOT of them. sorry, but if you're literally the only one NOT experiencing problems, then *there are problems.*

-12 for just saying you love this game? Are you kidding me? I see everyone in the comment section is a total n0000b at rhythm games, and couldn't get botd or Shiny Harry. For everyone saying the key detection is off: IT ISN'T OFF. You probably play like this: you see that, for example, up arrow is on the bar. You then look at the keyboard, looking for the up key, and, oh! you found it! You press the key, realizing you just wasted 5 seconds into the song. No shit you will always miss. Rating the game 1 star? For what? Because you are bad at it? End of my comment.

If I practiced for about 10 hours I bet I could get the badge of the day. I like the music, but it isn't good enough to practice that much.

The song selection is neat, but the gameplay itself is horrendous. One star, only because you cannot rate lower, else I suggest negative 2. The nonsense timing and ridiculous pacing of any song other than the first few is entirely impossible to play without needless and unwanted investment of play time to memorize the precise timing and sequence. All these on the amateur setting. The pro setting is even worse with more combo keys than the keyboard and finger positions can reasonably handle. I wonder if most (if any) of these are actually play tested for the noted difficulty.

First time in over 4 years (May 2015) I wont have a shiny, nothing against the game itself but I loath these games that require pin point precision that has no way to account for latency. Just some personal sadness at the end of a long streak.

this game is agony. between it not picking up on me hitting arrows when i know for an absolute fact i did in fact hit them, to timing being off ALL over the place making it painful to play through some levels, to the announcer being a constant distraction instead of background noise...jfc. the worst is when there's a succession of keys fast in a row and they just...don't match the song AT ALL. throws you right out of it. not worth botd.

Honestly, if you are struggling for the BotD you probably should try dinosaur on pro. You only need about to earn about half a bronze rank for the points needed and there is one point ~30 seconds in where there are a bunch of doubles, followed by some holds. Focus on trying to get as many notes as possible without missing them and you can easily hold a 5x-10x combo for more points. It should be possible to get around 10k points if you are a bit mess. A similar pattern happens a bit later into the song with more doubles ~ 1:25 into the song. That should be another 10k if you can get it. There is a bit of a slower part where its 3 notes and some hold that should be able to get you the last bit of points you need. Oh and that confusing pattern that happens throughout the song is Right, Left, Right ,Down ,Right , Left, Right, Up. You should get used to clicking those buttons in that order, hitting those notes can score you a bit more.

This badge of the day is difficult, I could get gold on a few of the previous levels, but only on amateur, could only get bronze, let alone pro silver.

having the arrow keys for one set of commands and a different layout for the held notes really causes issues for me. I would have preferred having wasd for the other inputs instead.

Just a terrible BotD. You have to suffer through a few tracks before you even unlock the one you need and it's a hectic mess of a track that is not very pleasant to listen to. Not an impossible badge by any means, just not very fun to achieve.

@SkuineaPig: You need 9 stars to unlock it. I only played 3 levels to get it because I got gold in the first 3 songs. I'm not very good at rythm games. For example in Rockband or Guitar Hero I can only play medium and even then get less than 90% while my friend plays expert and often gets between 90% and 100%.

I got The Band Before Time Badge and I saw that I was very close to getting Cherish the Chievos Badge because I needed 1 more achievement (19/20). I proceeded to smash my keyboard 1000 times to get the 1000 mistakes achievement. xD

The hard badge should be impossible. You need to beat either 25 songs with 4 stars or 20 songs with 3 stars and 10 songs with 4 stars. 4 stars is probably achieved by hitting every single note. I wonder how long this would take... xD It should be 90 stars in total because that's all 30 songs with 3 stars, which is already really hard with pro, let alone perfect 10 songs.

I got 42,321 points and I made a lot of mistakes. The first 3 songs max out around 20-30k, so I thought I had to do it near perfect, but this song has way more notes, so you need to hit much less notes to get to 25k than the first 3 songs.

@HARDCORE_GOD you are lying the third song is 2:20 and the last song (Time Wasters) required is 3:10. Assuming you took about two seconds to click to the next song, it would take you 5:34.

The conditions of the badge are: "25,000 score on Dinosaur Dance Floor (amateur)" OR "25,000 score on Dinosaur Dance Floor (pro)".
Why even have a fancy OR badge if you could just say "25,000 score on Dinosaur Dance Floor (any difficulty)"?
