Awesome. I sold my horses and bought an ATV while I was in Fort Groks only to find out that fuel is only sold in 3 towns, none of which is Fort Groks. Sadly, Groks also doesn't sell animals, which leaves me completely stuck. I get that not every town can produce fuel, but you'd think a military base would maybe have a bit to sell for a man on official government business. >_<

commonde7x the reason there makeing a new engin is becouse its gona be upgraded plus about 30% of people got new conputers made around 2007- 2011 and they dont want an old engin couse it might couse freese bad graphix and maybe lag.

Why bother making an entire new Caravaneer 2? You don't need a new engine, just make a different set of scenarios, move around the towns, change some text and prices, and the enjoyment will last.

is there a way to save? or not die on your first trip? i mean, come on, the difficultly curve on this game is ridiculous, any time you have to get lucky in order to be able to get past the first mission you know you have some serious balancing issues. That, and the fact that it seems to either be not possible to save or the save button is buried deep in some unreachable able menu nets you 2/5

Tip: Your entire caravan travels at the speed of the slowest mode of transport. Eg. If you have, in your caravan, a donkey and a horse, it will move at the donkey's rate of speed. To travel in the horses speed, you have to have the same amount of people and the same amount of horses and no other animal slower.

The basic things are: GO to the sheriff and get all your stuff. READ EVERYTHING. Then hire help and get 10 kgs of food and the blue Jerry can. Fill up the Can and then pick up 20 kgs of forage. Then everything else will need to be leather. go too Cagenal. Then sell all the leather and refile all your water. Also sell anything the robbers may have dropped when you engaged them. Then buy leather and then re-supply on food and forage. Then go to Drushlak and sell the shoes and resupply. afther this buy a small amount of meds and then fo back to Poca Cosa and buy a cart and another guy. (arm you two others with swords dropped by enemies) then stock up on supplies and leather. Then re-do. After that. Your on your own. :) (with hopefully a little money.)
P.S people will not mount mounts. They will only ride in motorized transport.

Very frustrating game.. Not sure what retard balanced this. Could have been very awesome but after dying 5 times already after not even completing 1 succesful trip (3 cities). I'm pretty much giving up on this game. So i just buy things to sell at next city when is start.. i get attacked 2 times = i die. then next game i do the same and i don't get attacked so i survive.. Last game i decide to hire a person at start + the $250 something weapon. Not only do i get stronger opponents i also get attacked 3 TIMES before i reach Caganel.. wtf? so i don't get extra protection i die. I get the best i could possibly get already fking myself over by barely having any money left to buy stuff with and then i can still die? There's absolutely no reason why this game should be so extremely luck based. And it's retarded that i can lose the game while doing absolutely nothing wrong.

How can you ride a horse? I mean i have no carts..2 guys and 2 horses still the speed is 15 km/h ...why do horses have such a big speed if you can't use it?

Seeing a sequel to this game would completely blow my mind. I remember playing this a long time ago, and realizing that my time was well spent. 5/5, and a big support for you to make the sequel!

2 things when i read that comment surger free games posted i just about shi*** my pants and i hate it when your route gets to nto be a profit doing it backwards sucks and findeing new routes take some time but its still 5/5

How to survive without getting your inheritance: Keep making a new game until you encouter a weak caravan and kill them. Then you get the stuff from the caravan and don't need the inheritance :D

KingCs7: If your route starts making you lose money, CHANGE YOUR ROUTE. Think about it. If you buy up all the shoes from Caganel, guess what? They're gonna pay you a lot more from shoes than Drushlak will. Honestly, doing the route backwards until things are back to the way they were at the game's start works pretty well.

Really hard to make money once you have your starting route balanced so well you loose money everytime you arrive in a town. I tried going out and killing bandits and selling their weapons, but when I had over 100K worth in weapons went to every town/city and no one would buy a single weapon!

u should make it so that medecine heals youre guy because i got sooo far in the game he got shot down to 10 health and than i beat the battle but about 10 seconds later he died it pissed me off

For Caravaneer 2 you should add a minimap in the battle phase so that we don't have to scroll around to find the enemy

Sorry for not making the second part for such a long time. It's quite clear that it's worth making and it WILL be made. I just need to ask you to wait some more time. The second part needs a good, modern engine, and this engine is being made right now. It will probably be tested on another simple game before Caravaneer 2 production begins, so, once again, I ask for your patience and apologize for making you wait for so long.

Btw, the one thing that sucks about this game is the sell scam, which works great with shoes. Sell them all, but them all back, repeat, over and over until it's at the bottom price. Then buy them at a super low price, move on and sell them somewhere else and repeat.
