People should stop making games in english unless their primary language is english or they get someone whose is to edit the text. The horribly battered english attempts in many of these games vastly reduce their overall quality. The sentence "...hardly realize we could won this impossible wars. making us to become the ruler of this land.... Lively happy ever after." makes me cringe.

This is a game with a lot of potential that it has failed to meet. It is set up to be a wonderful game of counters and thought, but unfortunately all anyone has to do to beat the game is stack rows of any melee unit, followed by archers, followed by elite archers. Only archers need to be upgraded, and you can blitz all the way to the end with no challenge whatsoever. I'd like to see the game fine tuned to become the strategic challenge I know it could be.

for those complaining about the clicking while setting up units just switch the the 1 you want alot of and double click the squares fast and it'll work...

Very nice game. If there is ever a second version, fine tune the graphic, make characters slightly smaller, larger map/more tiles and selectable diffuculty. Let us use the Defender unit sooner, by level 6 for example. Increase crossbow range a few tiles even if they have a weaker attack. Have an optional speed up game to move characters faster. Otherwise 3.5/5 overall.

the only thing i didn't like was that for the elite defender (and maybe others) you need to play on a other site, other than that still worth a 4/5

Archer mechanics are quiet stupid :D they should be STRONG at range, and Weak at melee ... but now its like this (without any ups) they hit for 33 in Range 2+ Squares, and they hit for 80-100 in melee Oo should be the other way round :D

1) Needs some key-shortcuts; placing the troops one by one when sacrificial tactics (tanking with a huge load of 1's and flanking with 10's) are mandatory is pretty tedious.
2) The general statistics of different troops (attack, defense, strong vs, weak vs, special abilities) need to be available in-game, preferably in tooltips instead of some other website (why didn't you put them in-game to begin with?!?).
Currently a 3/5 game at most, with the shortcuts and tooltips it could be a 4/5+ game.

This game is really great. The only real problem I had was that it got really easy later on because I had so many resources stockpiled. If you decide on making a future game having a set amount of resources to use on each level could add to some of the strategic thinking you have to do on each level.

Well, I started out rating this a five; went down to a four after I got through the "desert" section with more troops than I could fit on the board, and downgraded to a two after crushing the "unbeatable" level ...twice...and still not being allowed to continue. Too bad; I really wanted to like this game.

Game was too easy. Needs a difficulty setting. I didnt use all my resources going into the desert, I didnt run out of units in the desert and I even beat the unbeatable level on the first try. Just upgrade resource gathering before upgrading units (gold should always be 1 star ahead of the others), never upgrade the general, and upgrade archers attack when possible.

ok this game is a little easy i must say but that may just be because i study roman battle strat's for a hobby :P must say tho all in all this is a great game and i only have one other complaint it is too short (and u cant win the masscare dispite the fact i DECIMATED the enemy ranks)
