This is a great game. I hate how people quit 'cause they lose ONE LITTLE thing. That's just wrong. I give it a 4.5, 5 on the rating thing, though.

Excellent. Not hard at all, but absolutely halairious. Attacking works so much beter than defending, just like in the real world of politics. 4/5.

Pretty fun strategy game though it seem like if you just take an area of the country and then go and try to kill the other candidate (ignoring their staff), you will win.
I want Ron Paul!

I do indeed tell a lie. It freezes just as well with IE as Firefox. Currently trying to update Flash, but if it doesn't work then meh. Pity, cos it is really an excellent game (improvements can still be made - historical elections? individual powers for candidates, but it's still great)

@PhenoixKnight You know you speak truth. That is the same thing the British Empire said of the founding fathers.
It's good to be a loon! :)

Very neat game. Kudos on the great job. Not sure how much replay value it has (at least for me), but was fun the first 2 times I played it.

_But I really don’t want to have to bring back IE just to play a game._
Hmm, I used firefox during all the development, haven't ever seen crashes. Maybe try a flash update? I'll see what else I can figure out.

Well the few minutes I get to play it before it crashes Firefox have been very impressive. But I really don't want to have to bring back IE just to play a game.

A weird bug that kiled my game that was close call but sure win, 2/5 until bug is fixed sorry. :s Something with hatchet man jumping near end turn... his turn never ended!

THEY ALWAYS QUIT IN THE MIDDLE! DO something about it like ban for 10/20mins or something so they learn their lesson don't be losers! :S 5/5

Good game, but prepared to be mobbed by diehard Ron Paul supporters for not including their candidate.
The only thing that is a little unfair is the place where you spawn, since it seems easier to take over the west.

This really is a very fun game, especially the graphics. One complaint about the AI though -- it never spends any money! On hard mode, the AI could probably win most games easily if it would buy extra staff when it gets 700K.

I haven't even played yet and I'm giving it 4/5 based on originality alone. Almost all of these games - especially the RPGs - are about as original as paste.
THIS is truly clever. Whether its a great game or not, we'll see ... but you deserve full marks for creativity.

Oh, and each candidate should have a signature attack. Like Rudy's should be "9/11 speech" which does damage to nearby opponents but also causes the health of his captured regions to go down (they get tired of hearing the same speech over and over ;-) ). Clinton's should be "Invoke Bill" which does damage and causes nearby enemies to flee, but strengthens red-captured regions. ;-)

It's extremely clever! But a little too dependent on luck. If your candidate and his or her operatives start too widely separated, you can get eaten alive before you can get them gathered back together and it's usually easier to quit and start again then try to push a losing opening position. Instead, there should be a pre-game tactical brawl for starting positions, with each player given the opportunity to place a piece then deny a 9-square area to his opponent for their next move. Each player would then trade back and forth until all the pieces were down. The game also needs a "give up" option so you don't have to reload it every time you want to give up. 4/5.

I really love this game. I enjoy the artwork substantially. I think certain abilities are a little overpowered (hold rally, specifically) and should require something like having a second character (or maybe a third) in a state in order to secure it, or maybe control of at least one other "territory."
Two "bugs." One, when the fund raiser infuses funding to another target, it says "infuses finding." Second, when a controlled territory is attacked, it says in the chat log, " blasts no name for X damage". Having this be a littie more clear (Midwest Territory, for example) would be a good move. 5/5!

Could be a badge but I wonder how it will be put on as in "Be Democrat's and Win" Than we would know what he is "Greg"

I like the game, but I think the concept needs to be expanded a bit. Make more states with similar sized regions and allow a few more staff members. Also, add a "candidate stump" where he spends money telling the state how good they are and raising/healing their support a bit. It's a bit too easy to get states reconquered and you can't really form a defense besides "let them take it, then take it back".
Maybe you can also add in some minor staffer.. like an intern.. low hit points, capture space of 1, low attack. but they can be used to slow things down a bit or capture those "1 square lefts" that happen sometimes.
