It would be nice to know why I can suddenly no longer produce new units. And like others said: the AI should at least involve defending oneself from attackers. Also, if you set Auto to Off, it is very annoying to see your units chase villagers well into harm's way regardless.

if you want to make some units without consuming mana, upgrade the zombies to max and doggar too. when you get into a stage, spawn in the doggar and 5 zombies. they will cause a rockus and create more zombies to aid in battle.

Was mostly through the game and was thinking that surely I had collected 500,000 souls by this point but decided to save up 500,000 and when I did no badge then I looked and noticed progress for cities destroyed was 6/26 so I went back to an old mission and destroyed over the amount of population I needed in addition go every single objective completed and still was at 6/26. Badges are busted on this game. It wasn't bad though kinda repetitive can be played without even looking at whats going on just by sitting there and clicking to spawn units no need for spells.

The end was rather good, but it leaves me to think of this theory: After the necromancer had conquered every city, and went to the abyss, it teleported him to reality or the present, and removed his powers too. Considering how crazy it would have been if he used his powers in present time is too much to think about, but it was also doing him a favor by taking those powers, since the modern world had guns and more that could easily kill him and his army. Still yet, we must ask ourselves: Why? Why take this necromancer from the past to present, and take his powers? Was it to save the past and/or present? Was it to get revenge via fate on the necromancer? We do not know yet, but the developer can make this story, like always. (+ if you want to keep this theory/awesome story up!)

What a bad game. Ok-ish voice acting, and a WHOLE lot of things are ripped straight from their other games. I love pixel graphic, but these pixel graphics made me want to puke. What a asinine experience.

Just beat the last level: As recommended by Zandera, I maxed Alice Jeezebel (Banshee) and the skel warriors & archers (also mana, regen, portal def) and unlocked Diablo spell. At the start of the round, quickly build up your units. When the enemy heroes spawn, use Diablo to keep them occupied. Enemy AI is such that they would like to kill Diablo first for some reason. Just keep spamming units and protect the portal. When Diablo dies, spawn him again. Once the enemy heroes are dead, you're home free. Good luck!

So I beat the last map a couple minutes after it said I'd lost. I managed to summon Diablo before it ended it, so it registered me as still having a unit, and didn't end it. I couldn't cast spells on the words, but I killed the last hero and Diablo mopped up the little guys.

Is there a way to tell my units to guard an area? You know, attack things that come close, but never get too far away from that spot?

Auto movement is a piece of sh.t:
Only two buildings left, close to each other. When the first was destroyed the most of my warriors went to wandering to other way...

Controls are awful. Might have been tolerable a quarter century ago, not anymore. Shame on Kong for having this as their badge of the day.

I like this game, and gave it 3 stars, but the controls are just awful. It's way too common for the arrow keys to completely stop responding, or the view window to go off in a direction on it's own, or the unit selection rectangle to keep going after releasing the mouse button. The controls are just too poor and too slow.

Fun game, but the ending felt really anticlimactic and was nothing more than a "we don't have a real ending, but here's another game we made."

I use Alice ad maxed out skeletons along with meteor and diablo. I start spawning skeletons with Alice while i go to the main base and summon diablo and meteors. I then use my rez spell and summon a massive amount of skeletons inside the base. While the main base is occupied Alice has enough time with her small formation to spawn multitudes of skeletons out of harms way. I usually finish each match in about 2mins flat and sometimes 1min 40secs. don't bother using orcs and zombies their defense is too low for end game raids since the last few cities have archers and mages who shoot multiple projectiles. Hope this helps player in 2017.

Targeting AI; they seem to prefer attacking defenseless buildings until they get smashed by the good guys, could it be modified to target things that are hurting them? Sorry for the double comment, i forgot to add it.

@OdinJr Don't just put zombies, odds are in the later levels they will be easily wiped out, put a few zombies, but buy as many other characters as possible with your beginning mana, as long as your zombies hit the person ONCE they have a chance to get infected.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
err.. Okk here i go- For easy wins, max out your zombies and place some of them. they will have a huge infection chance and make their own zombies without mana cost, allowing you to use more spellwork on the enemy, and making it so you dont have to worry about them dieing all the time if they do, because they just make more zombies anyways. + if you agree this is a good plan!
