I feel like the Badge of the Day doesn't benefit games, because only when seeking a badge does one really notice how tedious and grindy a game can get.

For the badge: You are going to die again and again and again (59 deaths for me). It's not about skill, it's a grind for experience points (yellow orbs and kills). At level 8 you get twice as many trampolines, at level 9 your glide meter fills twice as fast, and at level 10 you get med-kits to heal. With those 3 upgrades 10k points is TOTALLY doable. Still a bit luck based, but nothing unreasonable with those upgrades.
Please upvote if this helped, so that new folks can get the badge without rage-quitting this game. And yeah, those hit-boxes are a but rough.

Instead of useless upgrades as "Fire dragon" (which you can barely catch anyway), I'd rather prefer an upgrade which slowly refills the health bar (like the glide bar)

Ah what a good day to run... A dog fell out of the sky!!! I've got to save it, but *gasp* a T-REX is behind me, maybe I can outrun it if i jump down but oh no LAVA is just below me. If I can get past it AHH a FLOOD, If I can out run all these things, Yes I did it I won I'm the-METEOR.... Well then....

... and unavoidable damage and a health mechanics with no ability to gain natural healing ... and a score requirement that makes the aforementioned health mechanic frustrating ... and the list goes on and on and on. Negative stars / 5

everything gives you experience in the game. Killing bugs, collecting gems, defeating monsters and using trampolines.

If you're aiming for the achievement, kill as many bees as possible. Glide is expendable. Hold up when you're near a swarm of bees since that triggers your attacks. Don't worry about wasting glides since you probably have tried this game for a few minutes before unlocking the lifesaver unlockable and falling down to the flood is not a problem anymore.

One of the excellent little things I loved in Flood Runner 3 that is taken out here is the de-emphasis on health. Why was it put back here? It was such a funny and joyous moment when I get hit for -898 sky or +234 turtle, and I'm sad you removed it. Please reconsider?

Alright, I'll be the first to admit the last game was way too easy, but... is this really the solution? A tedious upgrade system? The third game was easy, but fun, and you could pick it right up and enjoy once you got the hang of it. This is just... grinding for the sake of grinding.

i found a awesome glitch if you use the down thing to kill enemys and if you do it 2 and one is bee you can ride the bee

Controls are bad, moves aren't responsive, enemy killing is semi-random, player mobility is terrible so you can't really control where you're going, trampolines often send you into enemies, perspective is misleading ... there's a lot of things that need to be improved to make this a decent game.

does it make sense for the button to attack things in midair to also change how you move so you can't hit what you aim for?

Bronze = use 1 air column | Silver = use 400 air columns | Gold = you got this achievement when Flood Runner 5 came out.

I dont like how you can't kill enemies with any button :/ especially since there's like 4 times more bugs flying around than the last Flood Runner

I hit a trampoline and got the superman at the same time. The super speed kicked in, but the ability to fly and the invincibility did not kick in. A bee killed superman.

It's really stupid to downvote comments that mention lack of WASD option, since it only hurts developer who won't see them and will keep thinking it's okay while it's clearly not.

Great Game, but I have to admit, that I agree with the other comments, that "collect 100 medic kits" for silver seems to be too much. I played for a while (over 30 mio Score) and so far I got 9 medic kits. The Game doesnt't count that (do it once and you have gold), but I was in the middle of the mooen FAR more often than I have even seen a medic kit. I even defeated the T-Rex (which is the less common encounter) more than double so often.
Everything else seems to be ok (but a bit unbalanced. Panther-Gold is easier to achieve than sufer-silver. Unless you surf all the time, that is. But you don't use the board, you can't collect more...)

Tips for quest: If you hold up while jumping you can attack anything and if you kill something with it you can jump one more time (if you have double jump award).
For 10k quest you should get yellow gems they give you x2,x3... etc points while you run; and its best way to keep it up to get score. Don't go too high you will get zapped and "not the bees" will be heard too much from Cage.

A small change that would help a lot is binding the glide key to something else like the spacebar. I keep running low on glide owing to it being used whenever I go to punch a creature.

Confused: Game says what's unlocked at level 30 is a "new character." I don't see any sign of it. When I look at the unlockables off the main menu, it just lists cheats as being the unlock. Am I missing something, or is the text just wrong?
