The game suffers the most from the writing. Nothing personal, but you need some practice before writing for others again; try having someone rewiew your works next time.
As for the other "improvements" like magnet upgrade (hint: its already there, its called the speed upgrade) are just kong crybabies wanting more generic flash features.

Personally, i don't think a magnet ability is a must in every game like this. Some people just don't want to rely on skills to pick up things, and I think it's more interesting when you're constantly driven to make a decision between picking up itens or staying in a safe/offensive position.

somtimes ny gun glitches soi only shoot prottion orbs or dragon spirits or just fireballs ad i did buy all myguns so couldu fix this glitch i would appriciate it very much :D

It's hard enough to defeat a boss whose weapons you can't avoid (The 4th bosses lasers) but it's even harder when your own weapons stop working at the beginning of the fight.

Dialogues are quite embarassing. The gameplay is pretty good. Still there are quite some bugs; for example, it happens often to me that after a while I have a flashing red and blue bar, like the program it's keeping two counters at once.

When this was first released I thought the graphics were good, but the game was 'meh'. I've just spent over an hour playing again, and I have to say, the changes you have made to this game are excellent - 4 stars!
I'm an old-school arcade guy, so I'm always looking for great top-scrolling action, which you have provided in droves. BTW, the bosses flashing when near death... a classic device that I appreciate, one which adds a lot more drama to a game than a life-bar.

Same here, the health and power bars are flashing randomly so that you don't know what is remaining. I'd like a power like magnet to gather the money easily too. Good game, keep going this way!

I like this game, but it's hard to tell where the bullets are a lot of times. They are small and pale in color and they aren't very distinguishable from the background. Maybe increase the color saturation of the bullets?
Also, the numbers after collecting gems are distracting and I'm not real fond of the collection mechanic in general.

What an interesting concept of protection orbs. Not the casual orbs-flying-around-your-character.
One remark though. The laser state of the 4th boss is just a big no-no. If you don't have enough speed, it's litteraly impossible to dodge them. A bossfight should depend on upgrades, but on your skill. Other than that, great game.

Beautiful! But sometimes the pictures and conversations go a little too fast, I can't study them fully out. And it would be nice if we could see them again ;)

might have found a bug do 2 purchesing the recovery upgrade. bought it b4 starting 4th level health bar started flashing between how much health i had and empty, energy bar was flashing between how much i had and about a quarter more then that.

Its games like this that teach a valuble lesson. It teaches that Its completly ok to go riding down the street on your motorcycle with 4 guns pointing in different directions and Nothing will happen!!! You'll even get paid for it!!!

8th level : i lost DS fat the first boss, then tried to beat the second with no gun at all... Same for last level :(
1/5 cause too many bugs, but 4/5 for the game play --> 3/5

Hmm... is there a bug where my dragon stops shooting once it got hit directly by a mech? i think i just found one like that...

And, btw, the music somehow reminds me of the band Therion. Their leader is a member of the magical order Dragon Rouge. Coincedence? :)

I absolutely love the animation style and the music. It makes me feel like I'm playing something on my old SNES. Makes me think of Super Contra, and that's a good thing. Nice work, guys! Also a good difficulty balance in it thus far (I'm not that far into it).

The bug with the dragon spirits disappearing are still there. hell i sometimes lose all my bullets all my dragon spirts and all but 2 of my shield orbs. i just sit there shooting two shield orbs and nothing else.

Iam stuck at level 6, enemys keep disappearing and then i float around alone forever ;( Every 3-5 restarts it goes on randomly

after playing for a while my dragon spirit disappears (this happens in any level) and a few seconds later also my main gun! How shall i beat them unarmed?
