The racing in the game is great, although the boost is weak at charging (I'm already at 100% even) and drafting is the only true way to really charge it. However, doing the object challenges are a cruel joke in my opinion.

Overall, fun; however, there are issues with some of the events like slalom and the hit randomly placed objects. The Slalom suffers from some of the courses they are spaced too close together coupled with the speed of the car make it extremely hard to complete the gold medal/pass. As others have said, the hit randomly spawned objects is also annoying in that due to car speeds they are a lot harder to hit them in sufficient quantities and require going back multiple times to get a spawn set that works with the track better. The custard pie track is horrible because you cannot see the track at times which is...there are no words for that, and it needs to be changed because you should at least be able to see the track. I understand, they're custard pies, but when you have to hit a certain amount, and the animation makes it so you cannot see them coming up so you can run them over...I hope you get my drift.

It would be grade to be able to upgrade the steering - slalom and hit-the-stuff courses are really hard. Also, it would be nice to be able to negate the upgrades - for some of the aforementioned courses, it really isn't an advantage to be very fast.

I must agre with most people, the handling really sucks on this game expecially with so many of the challenges where you have to hit things if your boosting you cant really even move your car side to side its frustrating as the games get.

Just....no. Look, the racing in the game is entertaining and I can tell that some time has been put into it, but there is no way you are going to tell me that this game was tested before release. I'm attempting the "custard pie" run (50 pies for gold) and it is pure ridiculous randomness. A cluster or overlapping pies followed by.....nothing....followed by a cluster of overlapping pies. A nice looking game without logic is just a "nice looking game". Also, the wind-up for your boost is pitifully snail-paced. Awesome if you're at the end of the pack, but by the time you're in the front 5 cars, why even bother.

Great controls for racing, but it's really sad when I see the pixels of whatever object I'm hitting, go right through the corner of my car and not count. It seems like you have to hit half the object for it to count.

I really like this game and it has great graphics. However the slaloms are boring and when I quit a game, I come backthe next day and its all been deleted!

The races are perfectly fine.
The item hitting courses are pretty difficult, but perhaps some of them need to be lowered... I could upgrade my Engine to 100% once I was done with hitting the whale signs.
The slaloms though... They're incredibly boring, annoying & most of all incredibly hard. In my opinion they took a huge chunk of fun out of the game and can make people easily get sick of it.

Would be fun to add a pit. Would add more stratedgy to the game. Have rubber go down faster and going to the pits would bring it to full. You could even add more upgrades. Also a way to cutomize your car would be great.

The worst part of the game is the tracks where you have to hit the objects. It seems like I drive right through 50% of the objects because my car is apparently like 1 pixel wide?

0_0 uhm I found a glitch, I did an event that said 1/1 laps, so im racing and all of a sudden I pass around the lap several times(only supposed to do it once) and I was on my fifth lap when I ran into an endless blue area that never stopped.

Why not make the upgrades parts with their own stats some high and some low that way you can mix and match parts for different challenges? I.e. max out on handling parts for slalom and strength for spin the enemy. It would also make the upgrades less linear. You could choose to upgrade your current part or buy a new one, would also add branching. Also special parts for completing challenges.

Hmm, what do we have here? A shaking camera, turns that whip me to the other side of the road for no apparent reason, opponents who lay on the boost for 15 seconds at the end of a championship race, bonus round things that are more difficult than the actual races, and races that are made difficult by way of being extremely short (forcing you to catch up quickly) and/or stuff full of something silly like EIGHTY cars.
Not goods ways to make a racing game fun :S.

thank you for making the races so easy so i could get to doing what's really important: running over cardboard haddock

I'm not sure how you don't have a restart button on the screen. There's several times when I'd miss one thing or know I'm not going to get the gold I'm after and really not want to bother with the next part of the race.

Game is too plain...trying to steer is basically impossible. Only played to get the badges and it really just isn't worth it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
That's the kind of game we can be sure the creators never bothered to play before releasing. Races are TOO easy and the other events are REALLY hard...

@meteora2006 I found the key to slaloms is constantly adjusting your speed; they are the only game type where i used the brake at all. also, never even think about touching the boost. the slaloms are only difficult because they require pure finesse in a game otherwise dominated by raw speed and power
