547843, There is no functional difference between bleeding a minimal chunk of the reward to a player and allowing them to replay past levels in this game as levels don't offer special rewards.

@Undefined I usually love the games you come up with, but this one seems to be a little low for your standards. Sure, your other games have a little lag here and there, but it was still fun to play. This one doesn't catch my interest, even though you are a great game developer. Overall, I give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10, just out of respect for you.

I like this game, I really do, but it's ridiculous after some time how hard the game gets, with enemies that are both more durable and stronger than your ships.

Very confusing layout. Based on experience, I think the ships protection is kinetic - energy - plasma for your ships, but kinetic - plasma - energy for enemy ships! Would really help if they had icons.

Either this is a deliberately hard game, or we've been trolled. Without some way to level up the ships you can buy and the really small fleet caps for the missions theres just no way to get more than a couple of systems in because you simply cannot survive battles, let alone win them.
Solution: Repeatable and/or random missions in each system.

I don't see why or how, in the game world, the fleet 'capacity' makes any sense. Once you manage to build a massively powerful fleet, why on earth would you engage with only a few? Why not send in the whole fleet?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok, I'm giving 3/5 and favorite... This is a REALLY interesting concept, but needs more tweaking. And looking at don't touch my gems I know you can improve ;-)

there should be a range upgrade to the weapons when u lvl them up. like instead of only 1 square all the way around ur ship with point defense, like 5 levels in advancement with that weapon, it would go to 2 squares around.

great game all u need 2 add is some repeatable missions cause i cant lvl my lvl 1 ships becuase they just get owned and since it got owned it was a waste of a ship 4 the lvl so i loose... and u dont get exp worth the amount of ships destroyed. thats all maybe u can make an update?

@Boch He runs all his games through trial testings before releasing it, If a game is too difficult for you try and ask something intelligent like suggesting an easy mode instead of insulting the person who took the time to make a FREE game.

Enemy ships are too high level in later stages. They should be easier to destroy. Good game - I will make similar one, but much easier. The point of gaming is to win. Not easy, but also not THAT hard, man.

I liked it, it was pretty good, but it got a little boring fast with the same thing alays happening, needs some more twists o.O

Hey, CREATOR of this game! Did YOU try to win this game? I dont think so... and if yes, there have to be only very one difficult way how to win it. Now tell me how should we - normal mortals - know this way?
The only thing you need to do is to allow repeated levels, otherwise we never gain enough experience to defeat those aliens.

I agree with most of the constructive feedback offered by others. There should be a way to redeem poor upgrade decisions. Allowing older levels to be replayed is an effective way of offering easier gameplay to those that feel like they need it. The diminished XP of using multiple ships is a terrific balancing device but seems redundant with the ship cap limit for each mission... one or the other, not both. Buying new level 1 ships in advanced sectors seems a bit wonky. Money seems redundant when there are ship limits and limited slots. If one could buy additional module slots, it would make money a more important concern. Overall, the game seems to favor a small number of powerful ships (usually your starting two) over a diverse fleet. Excellent game but needs some refinements to be superb.

Okay, I'm pretty sure this solidly falls into the 'stupid question' category, but why do weapons have a yellow reticule/target block and only allow me to target myself?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it's quite good, needs some work though. I don't think I see the point of the single target attacks. I tried restarting to see how that worked because of the extra damage items, and when I got into the next area it just didn't simply because I was so outnumbered and I thought the extra large hit would make the difference but it was still taking around 3-4 hits to kill things, which is somewhat ridiculous because of the starting ships you get the bomber, and the other one that only attacks adjacent ships with a single target attack, it moves so slow and by the time you get to a target if you don't have the multiple target attack on both you just can't do anything.

I'm really disappointed because this game could have a lot of potentiality but the realisation is pissing me off!!! how can you advance in level with new ships?????
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i don't see the point in buying new ships once you advance:the enemy levelling is screwd up!!
if i buy a new lvl1 ship i should be able to fight against same (+or-) lvl enemies!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wow, screwed. I went pretty far with just two ships and then hit a brick wall. Bought another ship but it's level was so low it died very quickly in battle, leaving me with two ships. No way to grind my level up. End game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Buying new ships is almost pointless. Without the ability to train up new ships on easier missions, they just get left behind, and they're not worth the cash.
Also, Energy Syphon is bugged. It doesn't always damage enemies on diagonals, even though it should.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Such a shame the level system lacks some touch, and the difficulty is balanced to some obscure way to setup your ships, and really most ships benefit from just leveling up one ability... so whats the big deal with having several choices when only one of them really counts?...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Concept: GREAT! Playability: POOR! Needs Respec or Farming. I don't want to try and figure out how the developer thinks the game should be beaten. I want to beat it my way [i.e. the overfarmed unstoppable fleet method].
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If it hasn't already been mentioned, there's a bug in the game that causes projectiles/shots to appear to originate from ships other than the ships actually firing them.
