Kudos to Kongregate for reviving our old favorite Flash games on the Ruffle platform. Thank you so much. Generally speaking, it works great. It seems to be more stable... no more freezing/crashing.
However, we have lost the Top Score updates. This is especially sad for a game like Hordes because that is kinda the point of the endless mode; to try to set a new top score for the day/week/all-time.
I find it personally disappointing because I currently hold the 3rd highest combined top score, yet I have actually smashed that score. I may give more detail in a later post.
Still, it's a fun game. Don't listen to the haters. Most of them just haven't figured out the game.

I want to like this game on my first impression but it's getting more and more frustrating. Where is the target priority? Why must we be punished so hard for the pathing when a barricade changes the path completely to which we have no idea about? If you could sell barricades even if for half the price this wouldn't be such a big thing. Instead we have to PAY to remove the barricade which just ruined our path and sometimes you can't do that so the level is ruined! It's literally as though every rule of TD that uses pathing is thrown out the window because the longest route method in this game doesn't apply. Instead it's block what you can and hope you don't F it up...

Not that undefined is likely to return to fix anything, but . . . Excessive use of the Rain spell can slow the game down a lot, and eventually crash it. This is bad if you had upgraded Freeze traps to the point where creatures can't get off them, because you have no other way to do damage to anything your units can't target. It is more efficient to sell the Freeze traps out from under them.

Stupid trick: Use drain traps and oiling until you have effectively limitless mana (this isn't hard once you have enough drain traps laid down). Leave a set of thieves at the entrance. Once the enemies are in range, use Slow enough times to make them stationary. If they have high armor, the thieves low damage means they can keep hitting them for one gold for a long or maybe infinite time. Combined with Rage you can increase their speed. This is limited mostly by your willingness to keep hitting slow forever. I got bored.

Wow, this is such a good game, games like thise ought to get badges instead of these point and click or puzzle games... pixel games sucks as well. I dont know if this counts as pixel but it's alright.

really sucks that the top comment ideas were never put into this game like the damn show path thing or the more then 2x speed button i love this game but it just needs work and it never got any so 3 stars

undefined's other games are better. In those games I could usually get halfway through the campaign before I needed to look for hints on how to beat levels but on this one... I can't get passed the SECOND level even with a fully maxed gauntlet. It's too easy to misclick & sell your heros, needs to have the confirm prompt added. I'll go back to playing the first Protector until they fix it so that you can beat more than level 1

The ranger is both superior in every way to the knight to begin with, and it's upgrades are superior. They both ignore all armor, the ranger has higher dps (after they both have 1+ manual), cost, and range. What gives? I assume I am missing something or some stat is misrepresented.

Shockwave Flash crashes every time I try to play this game. It doesn't crash anywhere else, just trying to play this game. I get up to the Armor Games intro and then it dies. Any ideas?

umm how do you deal with unit immune monsters on waves after 100? they have insane hp and my traps cant be upgraded like my units, so they fall behind on dps

I would also suggest adding a save option. It is frustrating spending hours playing in endless mode to have the game crash and have no record of my game at all. Make periodic saves and then crashes are not so terrible. Shockwave is going to crash sometime anyway so lessen the pain. Nice game though. Fun and challenging.

This is the game of yours I love the most and one of my beloved tower defense games ever. Guys are cute, sound is cool -not noisy, no problem with graphics, no story I don't care about, easy to play and understand, etc.
But I am sad that today december 2014 you did not something for the speed, the auto-send option and the resources after battles. I really can't believe that something like the SPEED ruins everything on this amazing game.
PLEASE, PLEASE !!! you are a great developer...please, just a small 10X speed buttom and an Auto-wave option :) Thanks :)

There's a road, but it has nothing to do with where they come from and where they go. I used to love this game, and I'd probably pay some money for a standalone version, but it does need adjustments.. as others have mentioned.

Anyone else get a bug where you can't upgrade units? After my first endless mode game now whenever I click a unit it auto-sells instead of letting me choose sell or upgrade. Game is now unplayable.

relaxrelax: if you select an achievement you have, and then move your mouse over empty space you will get a random hint about an achievement that you dont yet have, move to one you have and away again, you get a different random hint
