After the first quest, when we get to the "treasure" part, the line "Treasure is great, gold lets us..." includes a comma splice. This comma should be taken out, multiplied and put elsewhere, and be replaced with a semi-colon; you could also split this into two separate sentences.

Does anyone else think that story told to you in the beginning, when you are "learning the ropes," needs more commas?

Maybe a "You sure?" button after sending a person away, cuz there was this guy I really really wanted (he was WAYYYY better than any of my others so far) and then I accidentally clicked the "send away" button instead of hiring him, because I wasn't paying attention. Man, for once I actually hope someone returns...

so your telling me that, I, the mighty dragon slayer who currently defends this entire kingdom from all things evil cannot chop down a single tree to place a unit on?

so... now I have 30 elemental skill points, when an enemy is labeled as "strong" against my element, I actually deal 110% of my normal damage which is more than if the enemy was neutral to my element ^^

more games on kongregate need to have a save system connected to their account. it sucks whenever i spend a lot of time playing it the day before to come back and find out none of the data remains. thats the one thing about armorgames that i like better than kongregate

Is there anyway to save the game along with the saves? I tried once years ago by saving the page. But it doesn't seem to work now because each time I open without internet connection, the game doesn't load. It's quite disturbing if you have to download the game each time you play.

At first I was like "Uhh i like RPGs and TDs but this game is too hard for me" but then i got the point. "Max spellcasting for energy girl and hoarde trainees, lvlups only when no cell is free". 3/5

Oh also except for the storyline quests the "sponsor" of the quest will change. So you pick a quest to boost your Legion relations and then when the quest ends your Legion is the same but your Guild relations went up. Very confusing and frustrating.

God only knows how many times I carefully look at the information for each wave before I accept the mission so I can pick units best suited to take on that map....... then the waves completely f'in change. Fliers aren't flying anymore, some are absorb and others aren't, hp/armor is different and more. Seriously what's the point of telling us what's coming if you change it>

@knightshade99: Consecrate makes the unit deal extra damage to things that it would normally be weak against (things that are strong against the unit's element). Best of luck!

the progression is awful, you're king for 15 levels then in one lvl you're wiped out, get out! and it gets boring very quickly. 2/5

Hi gtcink, to add more heroes you need to add to your "Leadership" in the skills area.
I like the game but get rather confused about many aspects - needs a good clear FAQ/Guide page IMHO. After the first four or so quests I cant win a battle except the ones I beat before... And damn that Absorb Absorb Absorb guy!!! WTF is that about?

melee units should have more of a reason for existing. I know they hit hard which makes them useful in some situations, but with the amount of flying + the fact that you can make ranged & magic units deal enough damage to take on anything. Maybe ranged and magic immune enemies? This would make the game tougher @.@ also the ability to sell or move units for when I make an "oh shit" would be very nice.

All the flags on the map can be very chaotic. It would be nice if you could toggle ON/OFF certain types of quests like normal/storyline, complete/incomplete, different factions and levels with 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 waves

When can one include more than 3 heroes on a quest? What are the minimum skill requirements? Is there a FAQ somewhere that answers these type of questions? If so, where can I find it? Thanks.

I would go as far as to say Protector is my favorite TD series. Having elements of a RPG infused with a TD makes it much less boring than any other TD I've ever played.

This game has all the hallmarks of being produced by a republican idiot who is overly confident that their particular brand of idiocy is superior and actually benefits the nation. There are too many false assumptions inherent in the game, too many bleepers, bloops and blunders, and not enough canned republicans as an export crop to the EU.
