Map 526903=Camping, making peace with violetnam, waiting until turn 50, killing the empire of violetnam, free Blugaria and smashing the feeble army of free greenland and blugaria using my strategy. :P

Win Strategy:1)Click random map until you find one with a isolated country 2)Choose that isolated country 3)Build your army up 4)Wait till one enemy takes over another 5)Attack the empire's capital! 6)Take over the weak countries

Here's a great map: 974793 Red and purple are pretty isolated from everything, while blue and green can fight it out on a huge island thing.

Sir the enemy has 3 armys next to our capital, one is very strong and the other two are about half as strong, what should we do? General: attack everything around the strong one so it lives!!!

The thing is, You get to control every town you just conquered. The 99 troop army is much of a big deal. It is the easier to barge in and take the capital than go to every province and slowly take each town. Taking over a province=nothing but a big empire. Taking over the empire's capital=Taking over every town with a feeble 99 army to worry about compared to the big armies you have. The 99 army will take over surrounding towns but its only 1 army.

a touch more in depth: perhaps a campaign, larger maps, or something like air force bases or jeeps to increase troop movement. 4/5

the best way to get keep your morale up is to capture citys, hexes, ports, win battles and also never put your smaller troops into your bigger troops it will bring your morale down so put bigger troops into smaller troops for a small bonus

For some reason when I captured the last enemy capitol is liberated the capitol they had conquered earlier in the game and a 99 troop army appeared on it.

its a little mean that on hard the ai ignore each other and just go after you. If your winning it'd make sense for them to do this but often they just commit suicide and let one of the other ai win.

very nice game, you do need to use good strategy to win, but once you figure it out it is extremely repetitive, needs some way to introduce more variety to make it truly great, as is 4/5

Also, it would make the game more strategically interesting if you could move 3 spaces instead of 2 on the water, it makes logic sense too.

@Enker, no, they dont produce troops, but they give you 5 extra troops fr your cities to produce. so no, DONT avoid them, grab any you can
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sea ports don't produce troops, so unless your immediate neighbor has an attack route by sea, ignore them until your military is strong enough to start naval invasions. The optimal thing to do is to take a water route to the enemy capital with at least 2 large units, generally the AI only sends one or more units to defend it. And for the love of god, don't ever EVER leave the route to your capital unguarded.

As tempting as it is to grab an island capital for that extra layer of protection, always go for one surrounded by cities, so you can build up your military quickly. When signing a peace treaty, be sure to do it with a distant team, and preferably the one that seems to be winning.

@Dragonslayer1297: 1st is not hard, it's impossible with green.
2nd I waited some turns and still won(after many rounds). the first opponent didn't had any defence. The other two just were to stupid, so they wasted to many moves.

I'm thinking that for every, like, X amount of cities you hold you should get an extra move. Would help to speed things up a little. And like a 'snap move' function where you can just skip the little 'move' over the hexes and the explosion from the battle so movement itself is faster.

AI: "Sir there's a big army closing our capital. Should we turn back and go defend it? - Nah. Let's just move on and leave them on their own."

I wouldn't mind some achievements, or a few basics like a mute button, i'm a big fan of hex games and this one is a good start. needs some work but still fun to play, some other buttons to go along with the speech and treaty buttons would be nice to.
be for warned that if you take over a player who has taken over another player already the other players capitol will come back, i had to learn the hard way
