Having the time of your best run on the opening screen begs the question. Will there be a leaderbord or any competitive aspect to the game ??

The enemies in the last level suck. They're not challenging to dispatch or anything, but if you get unlucky and they happen to catch you off guard, you have to repeat the entire level, I think that level would have been better off without them.

I got more insight on my glitchiness earlier, but I still don't know what caused it. The "AMES" is part of the Armorgames logo, there were a few parts in the glitch game that had the logo. Not sure why it pops up when beating a level, dying, starting a level, starting a run, continuing a run, while on the main menu, and the final screen. The bullet accelerators were yellow with weird glitchyness in their sprite. When you beat the game, the continue run button would be completely broken. The font used in the game is also changed. Upon reloading the game, it was completely fixed. So, something weird in loading completely messed the game. Ho practical use for it, but it makes it a bit harder when the lights you have to hit are invisible.

Um.... I loaded up this game for the badge and everything is glitchy. All the lights are invisible, they turn to big green "D"s when I shoot them. In the main menu and when I beat a level it just says "ames"

I liked it but I think if it had allowed you to see above and below you a bit farther it would have been a lot less frustrating. Widescreen isn't the best for everything.

i don't think the camera is too close to your character. you have to run into a monster before you know that they are coming, and then memorize where they will appear.

This game was interesting. Here is my short breakdown of The Chamber:
1. Puzzle game with shooting. 0/5
2. The way you solve puzzles each level is new. 1/5
3. You kill monsters. 2/5
4. You learn the monsters are really cats. -100/5
5. You can spare the cats on some levels and help them change. 3/5
6. Taking half of the game to realize point 5. 4/5
7. Last Level reminded me of Adventure on Atari from years ago. 5/5
Final Rating: 5/5 Great game with an interesting playstyle.

Very interesting game. It was fun trying to figure out how to solve the puzzle of what the objective is. I'd say the only flaw is that the main character moves a little too fast, but that's a minor nitpick.

Sorry, dont understand it at all, got to lvl 7 without knowing what to do (seems an achievment in itself) and I just dont get it, what crates? I f-k dont see any crates ;)

I found it really easy. More han half of the 20 lvls fells like a tutorial, and none of the 20 were a real challenge. Could win most of it on first try, the trickiest ones are just those where the game controls ar not at the best (the "maze" for exemple where you have to be exactly on a row and not step on two adjacent tiles). The concept and realisation, ambient, are good enough to make it a quick but relaxing game. Enjoyed it, but will forget it.

I really enjoyed this. I adapted quickly to the controls, and it's neat to have different options. The atmosphere provided a calm familiarity, but with added touches that gave it a personality of its own. I found the puzzles to be intuitive and surprising; I really like how you changed things up in a way that made sense. I didn't struggle too hard with anything. Just a bit of trial and error, and it was truly satisfying to reach the solutions. I only used the hint system once, but it was comforting to know it was there. That "ah-ha!" moment you mentioned was precisely my feeling on quite a few levels. I felt encouraged throughout, and I loved the dungeon finale. Anyway, I think this was awesome and well-designed. Thanks for the cool experience!

@zepheidas you're meant to figure out where the last shadow is by it being the only section of floor you can't "check" by casting a shadow making you a "detective"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
yeah, level 15 is not very well designed. Last shadow is not showing up. I put all crtes on its position and started moving the last one all over the place until I found its place. Other than that, great concept, short and fun.

Not a bad game.. under 30 minutes, skipping the tutorial. Fairly easy to understand if you actually pay attention to the level titles.

I love that it shows the completion time. That makes it perfect for speedrunning. I won't do that, but if the word gets out there will be people interested in it.

Thoroughly enjoyed it! I loved how the fluid the camera is and definitely the variations of the puzzles. Not too frustrating but not smooth sailing either. I'll be hoping for more.

Charming little game. I appreciated the difficulty curve and variety in objectives. I don't think any of them was particularly non-intuitive so good job on balancing things out!

I really enjoyed this game. It reminded me a little of a Bonte with the build up of knowledge about your environment, but rules that change with each level. Congratulations!
All the circles are visible, but one (at least), is difficult to see without zooming the camera. I might move that circle since many people are not aware of that ability (Or display the control again on that level).

is there any reasonable solution to lvl 18 that does not rely mostly on dumb luck? please dont ever make this a badge of the day
Indeed there is. Pay careful attention to the triangles at the top as you interact with the buttons. The solution is the opposite of what you might think!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, on 15 i found all but one of the squares with the help of shadows. Circled all of it several times. However, the last one was nowhere to be found. Dragged the last box around the entire board until it randomly solved. That was the most infuriating level by far. 17 is basically Simon says, some people will find it fun others will dislike it, a lot since its so straight forward. It takes 2 seconds to figure out what to do and moving to explore detracts from solving, there is no hidden stuff introduced earlier which prompts you to explore, you reach all the lights by just turning, no movement required.
Sorry to hear that, but thanks for the comment! Couple hints: On 15, you can find the locations for the crates by looking for circles of light as you cast shadows around (remember to right click to move the camera and make it easier). On 17, there is a rotating arrow in the lower right that shows the combination (which is randomized), starting at the yellow dot. It's meant to be a memory level, not trial and error. I may move the starting location so the arrow is in view when the level loads.

i was awarded the badge just for reaching level 20 (i.e. - before finishing the last level). might want to check that out.

Music is extremely good. Did you make it yourself?
About the game, while i had fun at first, last 3 levels were not really exciting. For me, the problem for me was that when the game introduced new mechanics, it felt more like natural progress than a twist. That's why level 18 is painful - you see these creatures and you think: oh, i must get them on buttons, but now it's harder, let's go. It was so unexpected to get stuff off the buttons i didn't notice it myself, when i got tired and checked comments and found that i'm supposed to not press buttons, but make them unpressed, i was so disappointed, that it pretty much ruined all experiece for me.

A fun game over all. A minor glitch is that sometimes I would bump into a corner and get stuck there. I wouldn't die, I just wouldn't be able to move and I'd have to restart the level.

This is fantastic! Not too difficult, but it never gets old because there is something new around the corner (almost) every time. Sweet!
