okay, im the only one that feel sorry for the captain? i mean, that ghost ship stolen everything from him, his tripulation and his ships, and above of everithing his sister (i still want to figure out why the hell you would tag along with a family member to kill pirates XD)

how does the AP system work? Often most of my ships aren't getting any AP back and it's only the one and the same ship that gets AP back

It is funny how we can screw up with economy by buying 1500 weight of goods... By the way, shouldn't the most expansive ship be the strongest one? Or at least shouldn't it be able to defeat the final boss? Having to use a Line instead of a Cliper is kind of lame... Even though a Cliper is a transportation ship, and a Line is a warship.

How does the hp of the final ship differ? I saw comments about a ship with 5000hp, youtube shows a tutorial with a flying dutchman with 3000hp. In my game the final ship has 30000hp which is pretty impossible. Are the hp points of the final ship raising with the days past?

I tried to give the game a chance. But spending more than 60+ days going back and forth with the first ship between two ports since you get destroyed going to the third due to being outnumbered and losing money either retreating or losing isn't fun.

A few tips
* Farm "Buy Ship" and "Make Upgrades" achievement by keep buying, upgrading, then selling the first level ship. Repeat. The game doesn't keep track that you are doing this to the same ship.
* More crew you have makes boarding a ship with fewer crew more successful (you can see success % at the bottom of enemy ship when you choose board option). Can reduce number of crews first using "Aim Crew" option.
* "Aim Crew" reduces AP and number of crew (for later boarding).
* "Aim Sail" also reduces AP and crew numbers as some crew members are up on the sail.
* Completely destroy ships that you have successfully boarded can also increase your achievement in "Ships destroyed".
* Pay for special canon balls for 1.5x and 3x destruction power. Useful when you are outgunned.
Good luck and have fun!

@endplanets, attacking sails reduces their actionpoints, nice at start but the bigger ships have so much sail that it barely matters anymore.

i really dig this. but some of the achievements are an unnecessary grind- like the 30 ships or 100 upgrades ones- i have to actually sell down my ships and reupgrade in order to complete it. thats just wasting my time with a chore and not a game.

A fun game I played all the way through........What conditions determine who shoots first in a fight.........I really like how towns tell us what is cheap and what is in demand. It really quickens the game. Though it does become a bit automatic and repetitive.........The fighting could be made faster. Make BOARDING fights faster or let me do things in the meantime. And I especially wish all the enemy's actions would occur at once...........I am not sure what attacking sails does.

I need to avenge the single life of my sister. And so I killed tens of thousands of people. Though I'm not sure why why a ghost would want a red head (insert ginger soul joke here)

The final battle is way too easy when you max out the last ship. I one-shot it using dynamite and quick shot. Perhaps increase its difficulty?

In order to beat the game, you have to use the star point upgrades available in the bottom left corner while in town. took forever to figure out v.v

Use 3 fully upgraded Clipper and Dynamite ammunition to destroy the flying dutchman. Attack the board if you have 40+ ap, [Quick shot 30-34 and 36-39 ap] 35 AP attack board once and quickshot

That epic moment when the enemy has one ship left , and all 3 of your ships have full AP, you just mash on the quick shot and destroy them beyond recognition.

Just wishfull thinking on my part, butt... i cant help but think of an after game mode where you can go on a rampage with Modern destroyers, Combat cruisers, nuclear subs, Assault frigates and carriers, fighting challenging bosses in a sort of post game level. cannons are well and good, but autocannons that can attack 12x per turns and missiles/torpedoes sounds like alot of fun imo. great game anyway

SPIOLER!
when first starting your best bet for a little while is trading BUT later on in the game i was mantining a 500k+ treasury off of pirates (lvls 22-26) and in the middle of the ship "tree" it is usualy easiest to board after one hit of pouder cannons set to target crew

lol a firsti was confuse as i had the best ship there is in the game but everything is killing me. then i notice the comment to click and drag ftw -.-

I would like to see the arrows for prices fixed, the arrows should intuitively reflect higher prices (up arrow) and lower prices (down arrow)...but this is opposite in the game.

Almost went a rampage in a comment because i was at a loss on how to proceed after i had fully upgraded Kogg ships. Then i found the scroll. That was very poorly done.

You can get millions of money by buying goods from one place, selling it at another, then buying other goods and sell it to the original, then do the opposite and wait a day for the prices to drop, I got gunpowder at 10K and make 30K I earned 100 million

I highly enjoyed this game. The trade system is odd. Buy the green arrows and sell the red arrows. The turn based combat was awesome, and works very well. Some of the enemies were hard, but not f this game hard. I was a little disappionted with the ending, because I was hoping for some more story to read. All in all, this was a great game.

Shouldnt it cost more to fire special weapons the bigger the ship/more guns your ship gets, since you are firing more? I am just saying because its easy to just wipe out fleets with dynamite perhaps to even the score a little?

The ship tree was very frustrating. It needs a button to show up. I sailed for hours trying to build up enough stars to battle the last few pirates. Almost thought the game was unbeatable. Also needs a buy 5 and buy 10 button. And the merchant icons are misleading. Nevertheless, I've played for hours! Thank you!

Not a natural redhead... that's the only bit of this game I don't like. You couldn't have come up with a more interesting reason?
