Tip: If using weapons such as wand and sniper do not put any money into speed, put it into range. Also this one is petty obvious but don't put money into special upgrades for sniper and slingshot. (Unless WTFCAKE adds specials to these weapons.)

Noticed that some dont have any specials, even if you can still upgrade it. How about: Sniper Rifle: Chance of 1% each rank to headshot, causeing instant death. Slingshot: 2% for each rank to stun the enemy for 2 seconds.

I'll tell you newer players a major secret....do not think that maxing out all stats on all characters is the way to go. For example, if your friend can hit practically the whole board after a lvl 2 or 3 upgrade, then why put any points in speed? If he has no special, it definitely doesn't need any points. Also, the shotgun is WAAAY better with lvl 0 range so think before you upgrade!

this game was cool but it needed a way to get more lives. because what happens if you lose four lives on like the first wave? (witch would never happen) you would be stuck with one life for the 99 other waves. rate my comment good if you agree. bad if you dont.

Please fix the slingshot, it deals more damage than the laser, the shotgun, ice gun, poison darts, magic wand, and deals the same damage as a bazooka! and it fires quickly! and its the cheapest weapon! fricking overpowered
Actualy it isn't overpowered. You have to count on the damage done per second and the total damage done to all enemies, also the slingshot has no special ability like the other weapons you mentioned.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but the weapons don't sell for 80%. All of them sell for $240 (from what I've noticed, at least, I haven't checked it with the lower-costing weapons). But $240 is definitely not 80% of $500 or $600.

For some reason i love this game. its super simple yet super easy to play. i reckon wud be a cool idea is if you could click friends together like lego bricks, to slowly build up a giant friend in all kinds of funny shapes :p Thatd be awsome

It would be nice to know the number on the specials (crit chance + multiplier, bonus poison/freeze damage + duration, explosion area/damage percent, etc), does special upgrade on sniper or slingshot do anything? If not it should be disabled.

it can be cheated: after finishing a wave, reload browser and at the main screen, resume game. you will start from wave 1 with all the units and upgrades you had AND the unit counter reset to 0 (so you can have more than 10)

how to say, hopefully there is a button that "friend" can return to the orginal position before being pushed by other enemies

Just beat the game on normal. That was really fun! But I only had one life left, and I would have been so frustrated if I had gone so far just to lose. I highly recommend the option of purchasing additional lives.

wooo beat it on hard! It seemed like once I got through the early game the difficulty ramp couldn't keep up with my friends, maybe the difficulty should ramp up faster on Hard? My final friend composition was 2 shotgun (dps/aoe), 3 snipers (for fast enemies), an ice, a poison, and a random throwing star dude because I like throwing stars. Although the tutorial says selling weapons isn't recommended, I found it useful to give a early friend a slingshot when I can't afford anything else and then sell it later for a better weapon (you keep all upgrades when you sell a weapon, and selling the slingshot only loses you $20)

you should be able to buy more friends and more weapons and would be cool if you upgraded them till their not green you can be them a second weapon, just sayin

fast forward should increase speed much much more effectively...
also, would be awesome if game could be endless after 100th wave

It's a great start. Got some great gameplay concepts in the different special effects and the AI commands pertaining to them. If you could add in traditional tower defense gameplay by way of mazes this could be pretty good.

Great game. Just one thing though: once you have all ten friends, if you want to see what was the ability of the gun your friend has, it's impossible.

Nice try, but the AI of my "friends" is horrible. If I tell them not to attack each other's targets, I don't want the nearest enemy to one friend becoming the target of the friend on the other side of the field. I'm trying to get no leak in even the first few waves on EASY, and I'm failing. I'm not even battling enemies here, it feels more like I'm battling my friends' AI.

also magic wand seems to kinda suck... too expensive on earlier levels, and made totally obsolete by rocket launchers later on
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
normal is quite easy... just put one ice one poison to attack unslowed and unpoisoned, one shuriken to attack poisoned, one laser to attack slowed, 2 magic wands and the rest snipers

So far I'm enjoying the game. If there ever would be a sequel to this, I'd recommend different kinds of "friends", more weapons and some maybe some "overall" (like some kind of skill tree to make your friends better without spending too much money on them). Room for improvement, but a very neat game for a first try.
