liking it, except for one aspect. with the laser... well, it's one of those things. if i can tell that i just shot someone in the face, it's frustrating for it not to do anything.
this isn't complaining about the programming choices so much as the gaming aesthetics. i'm so used to the convention 'when in doubt, shot them in the head' that when i'm getting swarmed, i go for the head without thinking. watching said beam pass through is a wee bit frustrating.
good game, though. maybe i'm just venting.

Actually, I really like the all-black colours. I know some people would prefer enemy shots were easier to see, but I find the all-black palette adds to the feel of the game - with more colours, or even with the shots changing to white when they overlap, it would be a different game, and I like this one.

On task set 6 I only seem to be able to get 12-13 rings on the 1st level then they stop spawning, it's out of 15, what am I doing wrong?

I like this game a lot. To me it seems like people are just complaining about aspects of the game that creates difficulty. The color scheme is awesome, my favorite part is that you know when the day is almost over. As for the enemy projectiles being the same color as the tree and the projectiles you fire makes you have to pay attention to every enemy on screen. If you want an easy game go play a different game.

it would be nice to get a cash bonus at the end of each day, perhaps based on how many rings you've collected that day, otherwise there's no motivation for me to grab more rings when I already have windfall and it might help balance the overly priced turrets

Laser bug - went to the store after buying the laser and I could no long er see the lasers...then all at once every laser I had fired for the last 5 minutes pasted the screen and couldn't see a thing. Annoying

Enemy bullets need to be changed, maybe give them a white color, all the whites coming for the black, other then that, this game was pretty good 5/5 once I can actually see what the hell my enemies are hitting me with, especially later levels when the tree grows and takes up 1/3 of your screen.......

I disagree with all the other criticisms. I didn't find it hard to see what was going on, I thought it was really well balanced and the dificulty curve was perfect. A fantastic little game.

Great work, except the things radar816 mentioned already. And the grenade thrower sucks, should switch with the shotgun.

It would be nice if the friken game worked. -.- when it gets to the "Press W Or up to double jump, Try it now" Screen, it just locks up with music.

Lovely look and feel of the game. But as many have pointed out, at some point there's just too much going on in the screen for my head to compute 'play again'

If there is going to be goals that we have to acheive in order to get further AND if that goal is something that has to be acheived by a certain amount of time or something, I think there needs to be reset button.

I found that if you press e after you die, you can continue fighting behind the menu screen and it does count towards your goals. For instance, to get 1000 kills and beat the game you just continue playing with the invisible character until you win because you cant die.

Upgrading system is a little weird, especially since a more powerful weapon (like a grenade launcher) is actually less useful than a weak weapon, when you have to constantly jump to avoid attacks you can't see. Also, there appears to be no save function, got on to try again only to notice all of my progress was never saved.

easy way to get rings: at level 1, just leave a ghost and collect rings. then you can get as many as you want. also works for windfall achievments.

While I like the idea of the game, the only sense of upgrading is very frustrating. If an upgrade game is done right, you can't wait to jump back in. If it's done poorly, you have people dying and saying "I don't want to do this again." I had $20k saved up on day 9 and just ate it, and have no desire to go back through everything again.

SUPER CHEAT if you die. While you are in the stats stage push shop and you can keep playing. you are invisible though but i was able to get my gun fully upgraded and i still had 100,000 soul coins to spare

The shotgun and grenade launcher are way more useful than any of the other guns up to the laser gun. I haven't gotten past that, but I don't want to go from spraying bullets to barely nailing one enemy.

I find myself jumping at random to avoid enemy bullets because I can't distinguish them from the chaos. And the missions ramp in difficulty a bit fast. Let others test play b4 releasing.

Fun game until the laser gun glitched out and was not showing the bullets but enemies were taking the damage from it, and then all of a sudden ALL of the lasers that were fired appeared at once and blocked out the screen. They wouldn't go away, making the game unplayable from that point onward.

For the finish 3 levels no missing, at least give us a restart button, really annoying for one single miss causing us to have to hit every enemy to die again so we can restart. also do not press E before starting your next attempt, causes a glitch

like octogone has halfway said u need 2 make the achievments more specific ''windfallmode 2 minutes" what does that mean? does it mean i need to be on windfall moden minutes total or 2 minutes in one round or 2 minutes in a row without bieng damaged?

I found a bug that when I accumulated 25k for the achievement while using the rockets I upgraded twice really fast to the laser and when it shoots it doesn't show the beam then, after awhile, ALL of the beams from each previous shot floods the screen and stays, severely limiting my view of enemies and the HUD.

@taggerung47: You might be clicking outside the game window, perhaps - if that happens, just click inside the game and it should start working again.
