I like the idea that the commander becomes stronger the bigger the snake is. Way to reinvent one of the first games ever made for the PC into something completely amazing! The art is kind of um, "borrowed" from nerdduke but it's still a great game.

With all the above comments I would like to emphasize how tough the control is. Even though that laser guide goes in all directions, your character only moves in 8, which makes this game very difficult for no reason

It should gives air-strike every 10 combos instead of only at 10 combos. It's kinda difficult when you have to wait for your combo to reset in order to get more air-strike.

This would be awesome in multiplayer, more players and no bad guys, everyone fights and the soldiers spawn and are taken by anyone next to them! Rate this comment up if you think this is a good idea!

i can't seem to actually play this game. i hit play and it takes me to badges and upgrades, but not to the actual game?

good job for what i assume is your first game however several items need to be addressed, first off the whole upgrading system is off, i would like to see more upgrades for more people, what i suggest is have three upgrade trees or screens or whatever; the commander, the soldiers, and the pick-ups, the soldiers need to be able to have more healthr, the commander needs more power, and their needs to be powerups like invincibility, x2 cash, power up, ect. another thing is that i would suggest a slider to space out your squad, i would run around dodging bullets masterfully but my uber long chain was shot down immediately, also increase polish and movement as other people have mentioned, great first, hope you make a better sequel

If you continue to expand the game, maybe think about a story mode within a city with objectives like rescuing, etc. with the same gameplay. I don't like the flamethrower guys very much, maybe make it where their spray destroys enemy bullets.

Really good game, a couple of upgrades that could be added in (most of which are already mentioned). My main one would be a decrease on soldier spawn time. This would increase survivability, since they are your only source of healing and main source of attack. Maybe one second per rank.

Great game, as suggested before by other people, it would be great if we could buy another or upgrade the commander's gun OR add some power-ups in the battefield like Metal Slug or something like that

It's a good game, but that it. 4/5. ( More upgrade, being able to change commander weapon, more ennemy type, and maybe a boss every 5 waves? Maybe. But for now, only 4/5 )

weapons are really strong as it is .. no need for upgrades on those < .. i mean i survived several waves without even moving because my 2 snipers picked everything from the edges of the map.

when it says that increase soldier distance, it means DECREASE soldier distance. means you have a shorter snake. Hope this helps.

*sees a tank*(MLG Boss mod activated)... *runs around it and dodges slow rockets* ...*sees 5 police men from all sides*(fight or flight mod activated) ... *screams like a little girl while running evrywhere*

Combining Snake and Bullet-hell genre - and producing a relaxing game ... WTF!
Does get a little boring when all the upgrades are brought but definitly worth a 5 :) And a sequal.

Timer for waves or cap to soldiers per level, maybe some tankier guys who can take one one missile or upgrade soldiers (separately or all together). Maybe some other drops and upgrades.
Now it's like boom all my men gone and I'm just waiting running sides of map while enemy pathfinding keeps them in middle so I can stack up with guys and health again to continue.
(...well if I bothered to, I'd do that, but ya >.<)... or die... (well I suppose you could also pick up bunch of snipers at start and stand in middle... or minigunners for more accessible money or something?) though timer and/or cap as mentioned ^^
Other than that I enjoyed the game for that while I played while ^^ (enemy comes from sides and have pathfinding directly towards you and amount just increases... yeah not something to that I personally can bother with much more. Nice bullet hellish stuff is always fun though ^^)

sniper is an very useful solider because he can kill enemy outside the screen. DON'T UPGRADE FLAME THROWER because it's useless. when your troops is bigger. the best strategy is LESS MOVE. if there are three or more tank, use the bomb. press '+' if you feel useful

There's a problem here: once you get to level 5, 6 and you die, you have to cavewalk through the first levels again, and there's absolutely no challenge in it for about 3, 4 minutes until you reach higher levels again. Good artwork, good gameplay, good idea. Congrats.

What would be nice is if when you kill a tank it remains on the field as debris that you have to walk around (can't walk thru). Eventually you have a maze of debris to make things even harder. Also skins would be nice, I would like to play as an angry mama duck and her army of ducklings, or as a hideous snake mecha that grows piece by piece.

Commander doesn't actually run toward mouse. He either runs horizontal or diagonal (45 degrees). It's programmed for keyboard controls, not mouse controls.

I understand that the goal was probably to avoid putting the focus on the commander's firepower vs. the squad's, but at the same time it would still be awfully nice (and imo much more fun) for your commander to be able to actually hold his own a little and contribute more firepower. Just allow him to bring a certain weapon into battle; you'd have to buy it separately, and you'd have to choose which one to give him, but it still wouldn't be that big a deal. He's only one guy.

This could be a really fun game, BUT: no pause button, "reset data" button wipes out everything and not just resets the allocation of the money - too easy to wipe out everything earned, flamethrower makes it harder, lacking upgrade for the commander's weapon, airstrike makes it hard to see the incoming bullets, etc. - needs improvement.
