This must be the only demo/trial on the shelf here on Kongregate. The manual that comes with the flash game is written by an illiterate ("showen" instead of "shown" xD )

A good game, but forcing people to spend real money to continue playing the campaign cripples it beyond the ability of ANYTHING to recover.

Interesting concept, but I'd say the expression 'to clever by half' applies here... The system, while original from what I know, is pretty convoluted, and I find this distracts from the actual strategy involved. That and this doesn't quite seem complete; eg cards should appear larger when hovered over, if I don't want to play full screen.

This game is fantastic. I daresay it's probably better than the paper version (haven't played paper). Dominion is a great game but I like this one a lot better. God forbid if developers try to make some money; many other games on Kongregate have paid items as well.
I've paid for everything and I haven't regretted a single cent.
If you know what deckbuilding means or if you like card games in general you're in for a treat.

I thought the game was fun and it could be a brilliant web game... but the lack of any progression hurts it. The expansions seem extremely well priced compared to other online card games, but the current model probably won't keep people around long enough to be willing to drop some cash. still, 5/5, loved the game and I hope people stop down-voting it due to the currency model, people gotta realize advertising alone wont pay for a CCG :p

Looks good, could be a ton of fun with people round the table but.. as a PC game it is too confusing for simpler fun, too lacking for more demanding audiences.

I'd be bugged that there's not more free shit, but the prices are actually reasonable. 4 Packs (4 campaigns) for $10? Seems fair, actually.

True: VPs should be more visible, both mine and my oponents.
Tutorial needs more work, i find it a little confusing.
Card stats need to be clarified, what is attack?..what is health?...what are all those numbers.
If the details are reworked, the game is original, a new twist on ccgs.
Another question is that me and my oponent just make a race, and i cant play cards to slow him or attack him directly..right?
right now 3/5 and could be more.

Paying for almost everything , incomplete campaign , tutorial made for hardcore gamers , 2/5 . There are better turn based games in here.

As it stands right now, it would cost 265 Kreds to play all levels of this game. That is $26.50. NOT for extras or premium content. Just for access to those levels. Look at your title bar. Doesn't it say FREE online games? What's wrong with this picture?

this is a really good game but i like it better playing it for real in person, this cyber version not as good as playing this card game with other people

I would prefer an option to buy ALL the cards at once, rather than nickle and diming me to death. I agree with Tar, this really should be a steam game, not a "free" game.

I've really came to love this game since I understood how to play it. I love games like these, I love Dominion aswell and this reminds me of it.
But now I've come to the point that I managed to finish the first campaign and now what? They want me to pay that I can play the second campaign? That's not what I consider a fair, free game. I understand that the developers want money, sure, but there was no sign that told me "Just one campaign, if you want more, give us all your money"... Disappointing. =( I really loved this game but this ruined it to me...

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Every strategy I try in the 3rd campaign game loses. If it's this hard to win in the 3rd level, and no new cards to play with in later stages, then this is a 1/5.

I've been playing deck-cycler games like this for over a year as boardgames, and doing it online just doesn't feel the same. and unfortunetly even as an online thing, Thunderstone just doesn't compete with Dominion/ Nightfall/ Acention/ even Quirrors or Puzzle strike (even though I have issues with those games as well), and for those who want more of a challenge, you should check out the Resident Evil deck cycler game, practically impossible to beat :p

I found another glitch. I used Arcane Energies to turn all attacks from heroes equipped with weapons into Magic Attacks. It only applied to one hero instead of all.

There's a glitch I found. I use Magical Aura to change weight to 0, then draw a card. Then, if the card I draw is a weapon, that weapon is not Weight 0 as it should be.

I really like to find this game here, i am not sure it follows exactly the rules as te boargame one. One of the strongpoints of the thunderstone game is the variety of cards that make each match different, but here taht variety is very poor, it would be great have more cards at the beggining.

This is a good game, but I have one big design beef. The fact that Victory point values among monsters vary so hugely--and that said monsters appear randomly--makes the outcome of matches (particularly matches with more than two players) far more luck-based than it ought to be. There really isn't much you can do when all the high-value monsters get picked before you draw a hand that can deal with them. Dominion has the superior design in this area, I'm afraid.

Great port from the board game! The buying cards as you go bit is a bit annoying, but at least still relatively inexpensive.

these people are in the business to make money; stop being cheap; for 20 bucks you can buy a ton of campaign expansions compared to others out there. Stop playing and start paying. If you like the game, pay to play more. That simple.

I don't get this one really--I get the stone and still lose? Doesn't make much sense to me. I guess the other person got theirs faster? maybe not the kind of game for me...

Constantly getting network errors. Seems like every time I beat a level, it tells me network error and denies me the victory.

Has anyone figured out how this thing works yet? I tried the tutorial a few times, but this 'game' just makes no sense. I read up on the physical game at BGG, but that didn't really help. So far, this is probably the worst game I've played on Kong.
