We aim to support developers and their games, while growing a rich and connected player community.

Jim and Emily Greer started Kongregate 10 years ago with the vision of creating an open platform for indie games with a strong focus on community engagement. Since inception, Kongregate has always prioritized treating developer partners fairly and honestly. This means great games for our players and an engaged audience for our developers.
Now, a decade after its introduction, Kongregate is a leading mobile game publisher and web gaming portal. Through our mobile publishing program and the Launchpad & Launchpad X programs, we work closely with game developers to provide a multitude of services to help great games become even better. Kongregate’s mobile games have been downloaded tens of millions of times and have hundreds of millions of gameplays. Kongregate's web portal features over 100,000 free games played by tens of millions of players per month. Through all of this change and growth, our goal is to maintain our values of integrity, collaboration, and most of all, fun!
Whether you’re a player or a developer (or both!) we have you covered.

As part of the founding engineering team, he has spearheaded efforts to scale a founder's vision into a site that receives over millions of daily statistic submissions and unique visitors each month.
Previous to Kongregate, he spent years developing websites as a freelance developer. He studied math and computer science at Portland State and is moderately obsessed with the twin prime conjecture.
In his spare time he loves outdoor adventures and hacking on open source projects, including Ruby on Rails. He regularly attends and speaks at pdx.rb and enjoys sharing his experiences with scaling a large Ruby on Rails site. Andrew is also an avid gamer and one of his crowning achievements is beating Orbox-B.
