Jiggmin is the master of making things fun. Just look at his games. We have a game where the entire goal is walking from one room to another without running into a wall of spikes, yet another DDR-style game, yet another Breakout game, and a game in which the entire goal is to madly click on dots — or, rather, to click upon dots faster than your opponent. There's even a Flash version of that old marble game.

And yet, they're all so much fun. The crazy disorienting effect of The Game of Disorientation won Jiggmin the "most innovative" award in Kongregate's very-first cash contest, and each of his other games has a unique, imaginative twist that demonstrates not only Jiggmin's understanding of classic gaming, but also of his ability to expand and add to concepts, leading a lot of us to start wondering, "Why didn't I think of that?"

But Jiggmin's most popular game on the site is undoubtedly Kongregate Racing, a game that directly contributed to countless hours of lost productivity from one of Kongregate's co-founders. Use your power for good, Jiggmin!

Brad Borne (aka Dr Nero) has been with Kongregate every step of the way. The Fancy Pants Adventures was among the very first games uploaded onto Kongregate, and Brad was the very first person hassled over AIM to upload it. Fancy Pants was the very first winner of a cash contest on Kongregate, and it was later the very first game to implement our challenge API.

Fancy Pants was also the subject of the first T-shirts that we printed to be given away to users on Kongregate, and we hope that they'll be available soon.

During the months of Kongregate's private (and later public) alpha, Brad has maintained a presence on the site, not only providing us with great feedback, but also giving other users in chat a chance to meet their hero, the "0mg fancy pants guy!!!1"

He also gifted upon us a worldwide exclusive to the only game better than Fancy Pants, and later gave Kongregate the very first look at world 2.

Brad was also quoted in a Reuters story about Kongregate during our beta launch.

jmtb02

What can be said about the legendary jmtb02? He describes himself as an "Armor Games developer [and] a nice guy in general :)." True, the meaning behind the colon and end parenthesis will forever be shrouded in mystery, but the rest speaks volumes of truth.

He is indeed a nice guy in general, as well as a nice guy specifically. His presence on Kongregate is always welcome, and not just because we're ravaging fans who demand to know where he got the music from Ball Revamped 4.

His work has made him one of the most prominent and respected members of the Flash development community. In addition to being "that Four Second guy," he has developed many original games of his own, which can be found on Kongregate and on his website. He also contributed a Kongregate Chat game... thing... to the site (whatever it is, we use it a lot).

His very first contest prize from Kongregate was a $250 check for Dark Cut, which was delivered to him personally by the guy who writes these things. Quite generously, $3 of this contest prize was used to by this author a cup of coffee. Sadly, however, the other $247 was used to buy guns for people who hunt orphans.

His new game, Knights of Rock, is finally scheduled to be released this Friday after literally weeks of development.

Luksy

According to Luksy's website, The Classroom 3 has now surpassed 10 million gameplays. That's a lot of cheating, and he deserves some credit for such levels of youth corruption.

But he also deserves some credit for his involvement with Kongregate. Not only has he uploaded some terrific games (including the entire Classroom series and the weekly-runner-up Runes of Shalak), but he's also worked hard at preventing chat from ever becoming boring whenever he's online.

He was also among the first users to be selected as chat moderators, which he hopefully won't abuse just to pick up chicks.

Now it's time to continue refreshing his website for any updates on Nuclear Eagle...

TrueDarkness and Buzzwerd

TrueDarkness and Buzzwerd have contributed greatly to Kongregate in its stage of alpha infancy. Not only have they uploaded some terrific games (including the Kongregate Game Contest 0 runner-up Prehistoric), but they've also been active members of Kongregate's budding community, providing plenty of valuable feedback to the Kongregate staff.

Buzzwerd is also the artist behind three of Kongregate's default avatars.

Their presence on the site (and in this "featured developer" section) has additionally reminded us of our need for a co-authorship feature, which is coming soon. We promise!
