If you're interested in helping moderate the Kongregate Discord server, please complete the application below. ❓ WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS? • Ability to read & write in English, for communicating with server admins • A clean history with the Discord server (have not been muted for harassment or harmful content) • If applying to moderation languages other than English, fluency in that language. ❓ WHAT ARE MODS EXPECTED TO DO? • Delete rule breaking posts • Give warnings to rule breakers • Help keep a chill atmosphere -- be positive, encourage the good & not be strict overlords • Be mature and fair, even when someone is breaking the rules • Communicate with admins and other mods as needed ❓ HOW OFTEN DO YOU ADD MODS? Every few months, but it depends on server needs. We will review all the applications each time a new group is selected so, unless your information has changed, you do not need to fill out this form more than once. 📌 HOW ARE MODS SELECTED? We look at their Discord chat history and, if they are on Kongregate, we look at their history their too. We look for good communication skills, recent mutes or bans, and sometimes we ask current moderators to give input.
