I must be missing something, how do you use magic? I only have lightning so far, but clicking on the icon doesn't do anything, nor any other key I have tried.
Note: You can also move with the left and right arrow keys. Hence, this game can be played entirely with the keyboard, or entirely with the mouse.
However, there should be a way to "try again" with the keyboard only (spacebar or something).
Hint: The slime will not start moving until you do! The moving arrows will, allowing you to start moving while the arrows are in the position you want. This is necessary to beat some levels.
There is one thing wrong: could you make it so that the player can see the map from the pause menu? Without having to die first?
Other than that this game is perfect (5/5).
I did it! I beat the game with no melee weapons but my bare hands! I had to use a shortbow and some potions, but I killed everything with the weakest weapon!
Stormersage: With reaperbane, it is quite possible to kill the reaper. The "easiest" time is in a level with long straight paths, so you can get off a bunch of ranged shots at him. However, this isn't entirely necessary. With high strength and reaperbane, it takes 4-5 shots to kill him. I suggest equipping an extra strength healing potion, since he can't do 50 damage in one hit, this could save you a turn. Without reaperbane, it is quite possible using the terrain to avoid him--the reaper will always attempt to move in as close to a straight line as possible, even if this means it gets stuck at a wall. This will usually allow you to escape to the exit. I don't think the reaper is possible to kill without the reaperbane, but I am not certain. It might be possible to take a few shots and then use the walls to increase the distance between you and it to get off a long loop of shots, but I'm not sure if any levels allow for this.
ddrchamp13: Yes, it is similar to tiny wings...and that might be an issue if it weren't for the fact that tiny wings is a rip off on earlier flash games. Oh, and arcade games.
Zanduken and picten: not all games are the same difficulty. There are plenty of easy levels at the beginning to enjoy, and hard ones at the end for skilled players to enjoy. If you got to the last boss but couldn't beat it, congratulations, you did most of the game. If you want everything to be easy enough for you to beat, a lot of people will get bored.
